7.5% Gaming Turnover Tax Approved in Kenya

This week bookmakers in Kenya got relieved since the president made the decision to accept and enact their blanket tax rate to 7.5%. The survey done by the former ambassador directed the government to revise its Finance Bill 2021 so that all gaming operators could pay a blanket 7.5% turnover tax as per the following legislative requirement.

Assume that the operator takes 7.5% for themselves - that means games return just 85% of bet value?
