Interesting - I wonder if this means cross promotion will happen? I would expect 32Red to have more players than Roxy, so would the cross promotion go that way, the other, or both? And how are affiliates taken care of with those cross promotions given that there are 2 separate backend systems?

Yes it will be interesting.
In the past 32Red has acquired Nedplay and Golden Lounge, these 2 brands are in 32red affiliates accounts.
Now with Roxy it seems to be diffrent?!
Well maybe after some time, we will grab our Roxy, Splendido tracking links also from our 32red aff accounts-

Weren't our UK players from Star Partners sent to Roxy? I think that was how it went down.

Every time you turn around our players are being scrambled to go elsewhere. They end up everywhere but in our accounts.

Understandable Christine,

It's a big shell game......guess which shell out of these 3 where your players are.......Shell number #1....sorry, wrong guess... you can try again if you give us top spot on your site.

Guess #2.....I'll take shell #3 .......sorry you lose, no players under that shell. Please give us more exposure.

For now I call it the Microgaming Shuffle. The only ones that got it right is Rewards by getting all their casinos listed and legit and redirect your traffic to where you want it to go.

Nice, if it does indeed work out like NedPlay and Golden Lounge, sounds like good news to me!

If a program bundles, 32Red Affiliates does, then I have the choice to either promote all their casinos (and risk the bundle affect) or... only promote one casino, thereby giving myself some insurance. With this sale now and if Roxy et al are added to the bundling, then by proxy I'm forcably bundled.

I don't see how that's good news at all!

Ummm it's a grab for cash and affiliates are the fodder ;)

Look at the contra deal 32Red have with GoWild.

Affiliates who don't use GEO IP tracking when promoting GoWild and ANY UK player who clicks on a GoWild aff link, gets automatically redirected to 32Red and they get this player for free.

I sure hope this latest aquisition is not a repeat of that!

Supposedly they were, I had a lot of UK Starpartner players but activity since being moved to Roxy is zero, like you say... same old story

Let's dispel one myth for a moment :)

Bundling won't occur. Right? At least not in the short term. They claimed in the email that Roxy is staying in it's own affiliate program. Can't exactly bundle like that. So - rule that one out at least for now.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the thread, we're really excited about the acquisition.

While it's early days and we're still finding our feet, I can confirm that earnings from RP will not be bundled with 32Red earnings. In fact, we will soon be looking at separating earnings between all 32Red Plc brands - we're just waiting for the technology to be able to do this.

Cheers
Mark
