Anyone else have experience with YT terminating your accounts for no damn good reason? All our slot reviews are gone now due to they say someone reported us for inappropriated content.. That is not true of course it is only slot reviews on the account! I guess this is a form of Neg SEO....

Bastard who did it is a POS ...

This video is no longer available because the YouTube account associated with this video has been terminated.

Thanks Eric, I think I am going to use more channels and mix it up differently. I am not sure why it was taken down, someone may have complained about the bad voiceover, lol. @bonustreak where there anything sports related?

I guess this is a form of Neg SEO....

Wow its getting crazier by the week for us affiliates.

If it's a case of Neg SEO, then that's total BS.
As I've said many time before, no one should be able to maliciously or otherwise affect another person's website rankings, with an external source.

When the ability to rain this storm on competitors was first raised, Cutts and the G team denied it was possible. However as more and more proof was supplied, to prove it was possible, eventually they (G) conceded. Their answer? The Disavow Tool. But that's pretty damn useless. Instead of just allowing webmasters, to submit a list of URL's they want G to ignore...

Well you know the process

I'm not saying it's possible but maybe perusing through YT's TOS/AUP and legals may have a caveat, which prevents people raising unfounded or malicious objections. It's worth a shot.

I just visited your YT channel and it states:
This account has been terminated due to repeated or severe violations of our Community Guidelines and/or claims of copyright infringement.

Just a thought...Have you or 1 of your employees upset a casino/affiliate program lately? Or maybe a disgruntled member of your forum... Simply throwing out nets ;)

They're all going. My slotjunkies account was terminated and so are other affies I have looked at. This is very odd. Saturday night, no notice, accounts that are quite normal and been around for years: it smells of a mistake or a hack IMO. I wonder if some automated routine to detect copyright music or something has flagged down all the videos of branded games and gotten over-zealous.

One of my videos was banned yesterday, too. None of mine have audio, so it wasn't for using copyrighted music. They are basically slideshows showing a few screenshots of the game, with an overlaid link to a casino. The banned video was for the Immortal Romance slot. So far, none of the others have been removed, and the account itself remains open... for now.

My YT account hasn't been flagged and is still active. Though I don't have a bucket load of vids either.
Besides the site which is associated to the YT account, has pretty much been put out of commission by the hackers/scrappers and BH'ers. Now it's not ranking, it's been left alone.

Given YT are being unresponsive, can we, here at AGD, establish a thread, where affiliates affected by this, post. If anything it will give a basic idea to who's being targeted. Again I dare say it's sites which are ranking high for particular terms/games/reviews... Could very well be another string, to the hackers/scrapers bow.

I don't think it's a policy change or a zealous YT bot. My guess, as bonustreak points out, it's a malicious attack to inflict NEG seo &/or undermine web site integrity, as ThePogg pointed out.

It looks like Google may have changed their gambling policy. I just received an email from a friend with this link:

https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/6018017?hl=en

Not that I run adwords but I checked out the Certification application:
  • It requires you to have a recognised gaming license issued, by the Country(ies) your promoting to.
While this doc speaks of advertising gaming properties (eg affiliates), as far as I can see, unless you have a gaming license, (eg Nevada issued affiliate license), you can't get Certified.

My account hasn't been flagged yet. It's probably just a matter of time. I'm going to use dailymotion as an alternative to youtube.

We had an account with 80 vids terminated early in the year so we started again, split them up into 6 new YT accounts & all still active today, (touch wood). You might see your videos back up at some point but they will be under someone else's account. Many of our vids have been downloaded by others & just uploaded again to there account. YT are clueless.......

Had a thought: all my videos carried the website URL "slotjunkies.com" on them. Reading the policy, I wonder if that's the problem as it is effectively using the video to advertise a gambling site.
