Saw this on the CM forums. Here is the Auction, starting bid of $300k.

The Directors of Wizard Gaming have decided after exploring strategic options for the company to hold a public and open auction for all of its assets and those of related companies. Our software is a complete casino software solution offering backend, affiliate marketing and all client side and server side programs and code.

Who wants to chip in with me? lol ;)

Let's team up and show the other software providers, casinos, and affiliate programs how to do things right!

Seriously, I have no idea what kind of (huge) investment or legalities would be involved in doing all that, just wanted to put the sale here for discussion.

That's sad :( I really wanted this software platform to take off. Hopefully they sell to someone with deep pockets to revive the platform. The games were very much like Microgaming games (IMO).

We could turn that into a place truly owned and operated by affiliates!!

In theory it sounds appealing. At 50 affiliates that's $6K each to buy it at $300K. In reality it wouldn't work.

Trying to get 20 or so affiliates to agree on something is a paramount exercise in patience's.
Imagine trying to get 50 stake holders to agree on how the casino should be run and operated.

Cheers

it's possible to make an online voting system
every share holder gets a user & password and votes on subjects that are on discussion
think about it...

Good point, although it may be easier in this industry if run by affiliates. Fair T&C's should be easy enough to agree on, and many are well versed in those. I vote for Andy to run the affiliate program, lol that should be easy enough to agree on.

Would definitely be some disagreements along the way with that many though. One bonus would be the variety of talent and knowledge in a large team of affiliates, websites would be easily taken care of.

You're right, it sounds very appealing in theory, but wouldn't be an easy undertaking by any means. Plus the initial investment is small for the software, but you'd need some deep pockets to start the casino. You wouldn't want to start out by paying wins in weekly installments.
