Hello AGD community,

Today we present to you the real revenue share audit report for Wixstars Affiliates.

They have Wixstars Casino as their brand.

Affiliate Reporting Platform: MAP
https://affiliates.wixstars.com/default.aspx

Test signup and deposit is made from Country ‘Norway’

We deposited €20 via Skrill and took a welcome bonus of 100% up to 200.

Our funds with the welcome offer were €40 and we started playing some slots:

Eventually, we lost all the funds and checked the earnings report:

The registration, FTD and deposit amount are not visible on the affiliate reporting platform.

We contacted the affiliate representatives and received an update that the deposit was identified but it was showing that it did not come through a tracking link. Our earnings were manually added to our account, but the statistics are still not shown.

One month later, we made one more deposit using a new affiliate tracking link.

Again we deposited €20 via Skrill and took a welcome bonus of 100% up to 200.

Once we lost all the funds we checked the earnings report:

Registration, FTD and Deposit were not shown for the second deposit.

Update we received from the affiliates was they had some problems with their landing pages, and that might be the reason why the deposit did not show on the platform.

We were advised all tracking links are now fully functioning and that the tracking issue is resolved.

Any other affiliates experiencing this same issue?

Thanks again for the good work! Very worrisome indeed...

A case like this shows the importance of doing these audits and random tests, but I would also urge every affiliate to occasionally send test players of their own. For your own sake

I strongly recommend that too. And, I also recommend checking tracking links, from every linked URL on the referred casino site.

Point in question, a few months back I ran a test, and discovered my tracker (supposedly a 30 day cookie) was not being tracked, when the browser was closed and revisited the casino site. Instead of my affID, it displayed as "TYPE_IN". The story I was told by my AM: They updated some GDPR coding at the casino, and that caused the issues.

When asked how long ago that was, was told 4 months. Whether that was true or not who knows.

Either way when confronted with the problem, it was fixed quickly. Still... fact remains IF players were cookied and we're not being tracked then I got shafted, hey!

Reminds of a tracking issue at the old 32Red aff program. There was tracking issue between 32Red and Dash. Put simply if a player clicked the link to Dash on 32Red site (or visa versa) the cookie was not being tracked.

Mark the AM at the time (now works in Marketing for Kindred), basically tried to play down the issue... Something along the lines of: only 0.003% people click those links, so it's not a big deal

My thought is... if it's a referred player, then any margin of tracking error is not acceptable. Especially if the program knows about this issue BUT does nothing to fix it.

Oops... busted. Not once but twice.

That right there is the end of that particular affiliate program. They may as well shut up shop and go home. Thanks AGD.
