Can someone tell me what the bank wire fees are from the processor? We seem to be short funds from the October payment.

I had same problem - seems the banks they go threw (or the payment processors banks) charge mega $ to exchange $ and do the transfers - changed payment to eco

Hey Janet, the US wire fee is shown in AE backend as $50. If you want to drop me an email with the amount you received I can take a look at that for you. Looking at the payment list, the correct amount was sent and no further charges have been applied to our knowledge.

We see 3 seperate charges from AE each month totalling around $100 - most expensive transfers on the net.

Hi Gooner, I just wanted to clarify that the charges are not AE charges but bank charges that we have no control over. All non US payments are paid in Euros, the dollar amount in AE is converted at the bank rate on the day they are sent. Again, if you want to drop me an email with the 3 charges you see then I can get this looked into. Everyone knows there are bank charges but 3 different ones? I'd like to know more on that one so I can follow up with our accounts team.

As with all payments, the amount we send reflects what you earned for that payment period, less any fees as shown in the admin. Processing for the US tends to have a fixed fee associated with that transaction, so I'm assuming that RedBush is short $50. But I'd still like clarification on that.

Thanks all.

That's true because most of my aff wires to (AU) get stung 3x.
  1. The sending bank
  2. Intermediary bank
  3. My Bank
Unless the program sends (in my case) AU, then I also get taxed on currency exchanges too :(

I thought Gooner meant AE were flogging him $100 for the wire.

Apologies for not being clear gents.

AE does not levy a charge on the wire - the charges come out along the way and are reported to me by my bank. The AE wire gets three deductions along the way - the last one has -20.08, -55.45 and -25.00 charges attached to it.

Then my bank likes to take a $15 charge - and F@&K knows what awful exchange rate that they use. But these last portions are under my control - and I will deal to them

The three deductions en-route isn't standard, the AE payment is the ONLY bank wire that manages to obtain three charges, most have one charge. Some are able to do it with none, but are sending from inside the UK to a UK account we have provided via Citibank.

Thanks Gooner, I'll look into those charges. However, if you have a euro account this would be ideal as the account the commissions are sent from is a Euro account.

Unless there is an alternative method we could send your commissions to, to help avoid wire fees?
