Thinking of promoting Winner Affiliates. Anyone have any experience of promoting these guys? The always have a big stand at the conferences, but sometimes that makes me think a company is big at robbing affiliates if they can afford to do that! ;)

Anyway, keeping an open mind, just looking through some of their terms - not favourable:
Affiliation Program Terms And Conditions
""Minimum Activity Qualification. Your Revenue Commission will decrease to a rate of 15% following a month of Affiliate Inactivity."
"WINNER has a negative carry-over policy, meaning that from the third month of this Agreement (after a two-month "grace period"), any negative balance in your affiliate account will be carried over to subsequent months and will be set-off against the payments due to you in the subsequent months, until the full negative balance is thus set-off."
and I think their sportsbook is ony 15% rev share - there's a typo below on 1 to 9 players:
"Revenue Share Plan - Sportsbook:
1 to 9 players per month - 25% Casino Net Revenue
1 to 49 players per month - 20% Sportsbook Net Revenue
50 to 99 players per month - 25% Sportsbook Net Revenue"

and if you don't notify them when you're about to make changes to the placement of links and banners:
"In the event that you: (i) do not show the most updated links provided by us, on all of your websites' pages according to the shape and location as agreed by the parties to this Agreement; or (ii) change the type, location, or suggestion on links without prior notice and our written approval; or (iii) reduced your efforts to recruit new Players; it will be considered as non-compliance with the terms of this Agreement and we reserve the right to modify the Revenue Commission rates immediately and without any prior notice."

Thanks Casey, I suspected they might be in the category of "lesser known brands that don't convert" for me too. I keep considering new programs, but it's a fair bit of effort to even do a short trial - to swap ads etc, so it's difficult to give new advertisers a go.

If I see conversion rates running 2x or more worse than I expect then I drop programs - I do sometimes wonder if skimming is rife at some companies when I see conversion rates 10x or more worse than some other advertisers.

Their terms are pretty poor too. Sometimes just the wording gives you an idea of how uptight or strict a program might be
