Sportingbet.com.au has been one of my most consistently profitable affiliate programs for years and years. I hadn't had a month of negative earnings since January 2010, all of a sudden after they implemented their new affiliate back-end I have negative earnings in August, and that's not all.

I had referred some very beneficial sub-affiliates with my 3% share earning me for than $XXX each month, apparently these were accidentally referred, even though I was being paid for them for years. I am still waiting on a reply from another Affiliate Manager, however I am unsure if I will be receiving any positive news regarding this.

Is anyone else in the same boat, or is there any advice you could give me? I am truly lost without my regular affiliate income and I'm hoping that this is just a big misunderstanding, but it isn't looking good unfortunately.

We don't promote sports betting programs that much but we do ok with Bet365 each month, Affiliates United have a real dodgy background so go with your gut feeling on them. You may want to think about adding a new menu tab aka "pokies" for another source of revenue.

Are SportingBet.com.au related to the main SportingBet crowd? I assume so.

In which case nothing would surprise me as SportingBet have a reputation for buying up small programs over the last 10 years and simply dropping the affiliate tags and changing the rules ... force majure ... blah blah blah ... immediate termination ... waffle waffle waffle ...

I wouldn't be surprised SportingBet they sold out on the same basis too.

That said, I was/am working with Centrebet ... and went through the SportingBet takeover a couple of years back and now the Affiliate United takeover ... and things have migrated acceptably both times ....

Still ... I wouldn't be making it my PRIME affiliate account anytime soon ...

Sportingbet UK is now owned by an investment company. .com.au was sold to William Hill I believe. The rest may be under other control, who knows. All I know is that the UK guys are fairly willing to work with you, but have zero empowerment to do anything on rest of world.

Centrebet = William Hill too. I would avoid anything related to William Hill like the plague. No doubt they'll run these affiliate programs into the ground by robbing and pillaging affiliates and changing terms at the drop of a hat.
