Will it just be another tool for CAP to squeeze more money out of they "certified" programs by blackmailing them with they audit results?

Well, in that case.. NO

I don't think anything at CAP is done in an unbiased way. I believe it is motivated by money, and that is the driving force behind the way things are handled.

I don't know yet what the plan is for the CAP audits. Last I heard about them, they were looking for 20 volunteers to run the audits.

I don't care for the fact that this was J.Todd's idea, he had a forum at CAP, they shut it down, and they stole his idea (sounds familiar)... However, with 20 individuals not related to CAP participating in the audits - I would think the audit would have to be somewhat unbiased.

If I knew exactly how they were planning to run the audits, I might be able to make a judgement as to their validity.

I am fairly confident that (with CasinoCity/GPWA) backing APCW, the audits will probably start up again and I do trust the way they have run those in the past.

So - Remains to be seen in my book. My only worry is the same as the terms alert worry... Which, I think, is what everyone is worried about. Will paid certification bias the end result? That's the million dollar question.

We are definitely starting up the APCW audit process again. That was one of the major reasons I was interested in having the APCW join us. The other one was experience producing videos and the APCW Perspectives viewership of course.

You're right. I got a little confused about what this was exactly. But now I know. And I agree with you that this is probably pretty fair since this is done with affiliates as the testers.

I think my head's just swirling with all the things going on right now. I thought this was something new, like the terms change alert service but some audit they did on their own. I can be a little dense sometimes. Oops!

we do our own audits ,also known as sending test players to play at places we are not seeing the results we expect to see.I don't think it hurts to have multiple channels doing this as the shavers may be afraid of getting caught and clean it up a bit.

Well if you can't trust CAP for audits and more, you can always find them at PayDay Joes. We plan on doing our own original audits, our own affiliate payment system, an update for affiliate program terms and conditions and all other innovative ideas you guys can give me at this fine forum. No idea goes unstolen.

Do not make the mistake of trusting CAP on any level, you will regret it!

What are they thinking?

Now I don't see any results that to trust them, I suppose their system does not work. I know there is a lot of stuff going on right now but I can tell you that the CAP audits are 100% legit and will be very useful to all those in the industry. This is done with all affiliates who are offering their help in this matter, in these times I think it is very important that the programs know we are watching what is happening with our players and sub affiliates etc. If other sites are doing audits all the more the better to me that is even more of a statement to these programs to knock off the shaving and untagging of players. I hope this will help us keep our whales as well!
