It is stated on the webiste of Neteller that the daily withdrawal limit is 900€. I have just tried to withdraw that in Slovakia, and was unable to do that at 3 different ATM brands. I tried 900€, 800€, 700€, 600€, 500€, no luck. What causes this? The ATM's reported in every case that my card is not authorized to withdraw that amount. That is bullshit though, accoarding to the terms of Neteller.

In Germany, the same thing happened at Spaarkasse, I couldn't withdraw more than 350€, luckily at Volksbank I could withdraw the full 900€.

Is there a list of banks that let you withraw the full max limit?

Normally you can't withdraw in one transaction. Take the card out, put it back in.

Yes. As Frank mentions, in some foreign countries the ATM withdrawal limit for foreign credit cards will be limited to low amounts. Just try some different banks and see which machine gives out the most. This is not a Neteller related issue but applies to any card.

The problem with Neteller though is that they charge a flat fee each time the card is issued. IMO the Neteller card is useless for anything but direct transactions in a country where no FX is required.

Before the ban on ATM cards for anyone other than in SEPA countries, I could withdraw US$3K (AU$4.2K approx) in one hit. Then do the same 24 hours later. Could do that 3 days in a row. Then had to wait a FULL 24 hours, till I could do that process again. That's for VIP Gold.

Think it must depend on the bank's ATM criteria. That would sound about right ;)

For a while Neteller has 1.75% withdrawal fee instead of a flat fee. This can compensate the low limit a bit, though.

You have to split the amount depending on the limit the atm has.

There is very high fees on withdrawls made from ATM and also conversion costs - skyhigh for me so have to be careful to withdrawl the correct amounts and make the right amount of withdrawls to get as close to the amount (750eur/day) limit.

When im in Sweden:
3x 2000 SEK & 1x 1500 SEK on the max 2000 SEK (bankomat ab) atm = 750€
- 4 x withdrawl fees + conversion fee
= Total around 80€ - 90 € pure fees

1x 5000 SEK & 1x 2500 SEK on the max 5000 SEK (ica) atm = 750€
- 2 x withdrawl fees + conversion fee
= Total around 40€ - 50€ pure fees

When im in Finland:
1x400€ & 1x 350€ on the max 400€ atm = 750€
- 2 x withdrawl fees + conversion fee
= Total around 60€ - 70€ pure fees

This is pretty sick since i have a EUR neteller account and the currency conversion fees are still effective even im in Finland using a EUR atm!

It is almost or is 10% of the amount that goes to the pockets of Neteller in form of bullshit fees and conversion fees.

Neteller is a convienence. It's akin to pre-cut, prepared veggies, you purchase in containers at the surpermarket. They cost heaps more, than actually buying the veggie and, cutting it up yourself. But, and reiterating, it's classed as a convienence. Same goes for Neteller, and other web wallets too.

If you don't like the fees/charges, then you always have the option/choice of getting you affiliate payments wired to your bank account ;)

Yes, but you of all veterans also should know there usually is a minimum withdraw limit from some affiliate Accounts to the bank account. If you ment the withdraw from Neteller to Bankaccount - For them who dare - ofcource, for them who dont - they get my point of view in this...

I have checked my failed attempts at the Slovakian ATM, the declined amount shows the part that I wanted to withdraw plus the 1,75% withdrawal fee. If Neteller wanted to charge that fee an no more, it won't hurt to try again and withdraw in 4 lump. I didn't try this before because I thought they still have the flat fee.
