I will have to look into it to figure out why. The banners always stay up there unless they go into the rogue section. They were a sponsor and had good terms and no issues. I don't recall off the top of my head why they went into the predatory section - When Lucas left, didn't they stop responding to affiliates and have some payment issues? If anyone else can help me remember - that would be great. I need to take better notes.

I guess it was also because they just removed alot of stats from the affiliate backend without any explanation. Less transparancy without a good explanation = probably something fishy going on...

Yeah, see Tobbes link. A few posts later they promised that the stats would be available again within a few weeks. Now over 6 months later it is still the same. There is no logic in turning off these stats in order to upgrade the affiliate backend.

There has NEVER been any question of them not paying - they are a top class operator, but one who just happens to have a crap affiliate reporting system.

If you want more detailed figures - just ask them. I'm 99% sure they would respond quickly to any requests.

Just checking back on my LAC notes, and they said the new affy system should go live this month.

When were we first told about this "new" aff system they were implementing? As far as I can remember, it was ages before Lucas left the building. It was supposed to go live ages ago. I gave up waiting. I'll believe it, when I see it!

A new affiliate system/back will not necessarily be a better one. We don't know anything about this new system. It might even be worse. Transitions like these have failed before from the affiliates' perspective.

IF (a big if) something fishy is going on with Videoslots (or any other affiliate program for that matter), a new affiliate system will probably not erase those wrongdoings/shavings. Most likely just hide it even better. I think once a casino decides to start shaving it is difficult to stop. The stakeholders wants to see higher and higher figures every year. That the casino industry lacks in moral is quite clear. Again, this part of the message is not directed towards Videoslots at all. It is just in general.

@gobo I've been around long enough to know, that releasing a "new" affiliate front/backend, isn't going to change dodgy or questionable stats. Cleary you misunderstood my post. :)

They do have Slot battles. This is a great feature for retention. Personally I'd skip them for Casumo however who have Reel Races (same thing)

So, the new affiliate backend is released and it got worse. We got better "look and feel" and no stats. Nice tradeoff...

Reel Races (same thing) is not near the same thing as Battle of Slots ... its its poor cousin by far .. we also have races where we give away 50 000 a week to players on top of the Battle of Slots we do ..I've said this numerous times and will repeat that once more we know the affiliate system is poor . The first phase if you like eas to improve on an old outdated program that affiliates did not like or want it took time too long but it was done .. now we move on and we try to improve on whats lacking witch we are doing .. I am really trying and we are pushing hard to get you what you want and need just be patient with us is all i ask

It can have whatever and I do even accept the huge fees to keep players playing (in the end retention is good for us all), but transparency is a basic condition and with asking transparency we're not asking too much in my opinion.

So, I won't work actively with them as long as their software is not transparent at all. Not going to be patient for weeks, months, years, etc. Just give me a call when the software meets basic requirements :)

The real question should be why Videoslots should not be in the predatory section. Their behavior is very rogue-ish with hiding information from the affiliates.
