Hey all,

New guy here and finding the whole thing a bit stressful so far. Just wanted to know: what things stress you out the most?

Personally, I'm pretty terrible at web design and graphics, so handing over the "keys of my fortune" to someone else stresses me out - and they're never on time, either, are they!

Also, any tips and tricks on marketing? How are you promoting yourself? With all the changes at the Googleplex, I thought of trying out other SE's, anyone had success with traffic from Bing, Yahoo, Yandex, etc?

Many of your questions can be answered by reading various threads in this forum. There is big learning
curve in this ever changing industry, but once you've taken everything in, it's not really that stressful.

Two things that I find stressful are tracking down affiliate payments every month, and dealing
with the ever changing behavior of the search engines, where nothing remains the same for too long.

The main things which stress me are:
Casinos not informing me of any changes to their welcome bonuses.
Not having enough time to update my sites.
Idiots working in this industry who haven't got the first fucking clue about maths or how casinos work.
Spammers and Scammers.
Casinos who don't answer e-mails / PMs within 24hrs.

As for search engines: Haven't the first clue how they work, so I never worry about them at all!

That's true NDG, and I'm busy looking all around for extra inspiration :)

I've had some luck with Google on other sites and some of them actually went up after Panda, but others - with the same strategy - didn't. Yet Bing/Yahoo/etc., just don't get enough traffic to compete, really.

Ouch with the linking codes, I'm not looking forward to that :p

As for the question... keeping up with program changes is a big one, but the only time I really tend to get stressed is when I get an email from my monitor saying a site is down (usually only 30 second fixes, but for those 30 seconds I'm like a bear with a bee up his nose...).

There is nothing more stressful than not getting paid, and having to chase up a late payment. It's not always about the money, but the mystery of not knowing if a program is going rogue or not.
Exactly!
The point is, if they can't pay their marketing partners promptly, on time, without being chased - how do they treat their players?
It's absolutely NOT about the money - it's about how trustworthy the casino & affy people are.

ahh but it's not about trust, it's about ideology. most casinos & affy ppl now operate from Israel, and we are but fleas on shit to them, we are just dumb goyim to be fleeced. and that's the real truth, but were not supposed to speak about that. because it is anti-semantic or something.

Ok i'll concede that.. :)

But please show me a non-dodgy casino & affy outfit that operates outside of Israhell .. I mean Ladbrokes was great until it went to Israhell and now they steal everything they can.
