Hello everyone!

What do you do when you have a lifetime commission aggreement
and the affiliate program lowers your commission and breaks the deal?

What do you do when you complain and they threaten to ban your
account, so you receive $0 future earnings ?

Thanks for your feedback!

Trust no affiliate program (even the "good" & "approved" ones) !

Any company that acts in this manner, please let us know. Not only will we 'go to bat' for you, but we will remove any certification for ANY organization that breaks their own contract.

This is a deal-breaker for certification at AGD. It is part of our agreement with the affiliate programs that they abide by their own Terms and Conditions contract.

Tough spot to be in. I am a gambler, but what can I say to a
program that claims they can ban my affiliate account at any time
for having too many "bonus abusers" from my site.

Funny, only a few months ago I had the "best" players. ;D

What if the scenario is say I am at a convention and a program agrees to give me a raise on my commissions and I agree to to perform to a certain standard? Sorry I don't agree with taking a programs certification away on this kind of basis BUT if it is the standard in writing term on a commission and they lower your commissions due to not perfomance then YES by all means they should have the seal yanked fast!!

Special deals are unique and require their own sets of terms and conditions. Basic affiliate signup and agreement to the defined terms and conditions are what I am talking about.

Breaking that contract will result in de-certification. This means that the company does not abide by it's terms and conditions and we cannot validate terms if they are not adhered to by those who defined them.

What happens when the affiliate violates the terms and conditions multiple times? food for thought.

When an affiliate breaks the contract (violates the terms and conditions agreed upon 'at signing'), the affiliate program has all rights to terminate that account according to their own Terms.

AGD certifies not only that the program is friendly to affiliates, but that the program is within it's rights to uphold the original contract under the terms with which the affiliate agreed.

Exactly! The agreement has to be a 2 way street.

I agree. For example, if an affiliate has been stealing content or spamming, and if that violates the T&Cs (which it should), then yes, close the account. Just make sure you have all of the facts first -- it is possible (but probably unlikely) that a good affiliate could be "set up" by a competing black hat affiliate. Do the due diligence before closing the account.

Wow, sounds like you have the inside scoop on my business..
wonder how you knew it was a deal made at a conference? Good guess! LOL

Do some affiliate programs discuss other affiliates with you my dear?
;D WOW! that is a good position to be in or a really lucky guess!

Did they tell you they made a bad deal drunk at a conference? Or that a
bad, mean affiliate lied to them and forced them to make a really bad deal?

Did they tell you the mean affiliate broke the deal by being truthful
with their players about a 3-4 week cashout time?
I like my players more than money so It is hard to "highly recommend"
a casino when cashout times were running 3 weeks.
Funny how a casino can then blame you for the long cashouts
because your players just "win too much" and abuse bonus. LOL.

I guess it boils down to the fact that a casino can always say your
players are just not performing or they are abusers or anything they want.

Casinos can break any deals made for any reason they want and there
is not much we can do about it.

Oh well. Business is still good ;D I will choose not to have hard feeling about this,
as everyone always gets what they deserve.. especially casinos.

Well, I don't know what is going on here... and I don't know who (if anyone) is privy to inside information.

I do know that unless both sides of a story are known, it is difficult to ascertain fault.

We can do one of two things here before things get worse...

If this is a Certified Program at AGD, we can open a specific, private forum... let's call it an Arbitration Forum where you and the program can talk it out. The only persons with access to this forum would be the certified program, NoluckNeeded, and our certification board members. We would ONLY answer questions when asked and not get in-between the conversation.

That is what we can do at this point. Let me know if you would like me to proceed.

Thanks Guard Dog, but that is not necessary.
I have accepted the lower commission rather than argue.

If my account gets "banned" for some reason, I will be back for assistance.

Thanks again and sorry for the drama :p

HUH!!! Well I guess we all know what your beef is about now don't we? I have no idea what your on about but keep me out of your issues, I simply made a simple post on my opinion due to the fact that there are so many changes going on in this industry(Kentucky for instance) the scenarios can change daily and in that change are verbal agreements to be up held. We all network and make deals at conventions and as far as I know you were not in Barcelona where the latest deals were made! I suggest you get a grip on yourself and think about what your posting before you go accusing someone of something!

I did not mean that as an attack on you bonusstreak. You would
not have been the one breaking confidence in that scenario.

I apologize for letting my frustration manifest itself in a way that seemed
to attack you. I have the greatest respect for you. Of course I am also
jealous of your good relationships with casinos and that you have the
best sites, so maybe that was part of it. I was angry at "them", not you.

Again I apologize.

I hope this topic is now closed. I will now crawl back to my sorry,
worthless site of bonus abusing players and not rear my head again. LOL

I think this was a misunderstanding....

I think Bonustreak just made a good guess, that's all. No affiliate manager I know would discuss other affiliates with Bonustreak, me, or anyone.

I hope you'll stick around, NoLuckNeeded... :emoticon-0108-speec
