Welcome to Wannabet Affiliates! There will be a terms alert coming that shows their affiliate-friendly changes to their T&C's which landed them certification here at AGD.

Craig, from Wannabet, has been extremely patient with AGD during a busy period and we appreciate all he has done to get his terms in order!

Welcome Craig, Evan (Affiliate Manager), and Wannabet Affiliates :)

Yes, WannaBet Casino is licensing the software from Gaming Right Media. The Casino software offers 70+ Flash games. To my knowledge, GRM acquired an existing Sportsbook and Casino software developer. That is the only information I am aware of at this time.

Cheers,
Evan

Does your Certification not take into account other factors - such as "Is the software fair"?

I just played some of their "Jacks or Better" video poker; I tried to double about 15 times - and only won 1 double.
Even with a 3 or 4 showing I was losing.
It is clear to me that their software is NOT 100% random & fair, so I will not be promoting them.

{Edit before posting}
Just tried another 10 doubles to be sure: Won 2, lost 8. Definitely not right.
Also the "Auto Hold" doesn't work properly - it will hold 1 or 2 pairs, but not 4 to a straight or a flush, for example.

WannaBet - is your Video Poker supposed to be a true game, or is it just a slot which looks like poker?
(Like Slotland's)

Hello,

Thank you for the message. While your sample size of 25 hands in the double up round of Jacks or Better does not appear to show a great result, we know a true RNG was not designed based on that number of hands either. We will however contact Gaming Right Media and ask them to review these games.

The suggested player action or "auto hold" in the Gaming Right Media video poker only suggests pairs to hold. It is not that it does not work properly, this is how it is designed. You will see many variations of this feature with casino software providers, some of them providing no assistance at all.

WannaBet has not developed the games, however Video Poker is meant to be played as Video Poker - it is not a slot. We have had great response to the software to date, and no player complaints.

Please know that any, and all concerns such as those outlined in this thread are taken seriously and will be investigated.

Thank you,
WannaBet

Hello AGD Members,

I wanted to follow up with you regarding the Video Poker game that was in question earlier today. WannaBet immediately contacted Gaming Right Media and had all of the Video Poker games temporarily taken off the site until we were confident that there was nothing wrong. We have received reassurance from GRM that the games are operating fairly, and as designed. We have performed additional in house QA and testing to assure that there is not an issue.

Every game at WannaBet can be played for free (some require sign-up though), however no deposit is required. I encourage you all to try the games. I would be more that happy to provide test money in a real-money account for any/all affiliates. If you would like real test money, please email me - affiliates@wannabet.com.

Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns.

Best regards,
Evan Richards

I'm not quite sure I know what you mean with that last statement (bolded)...

Anyway, in the pursuit of fairness I just did 50 doubles and recorded the results.
Left to right: Shown card, Picked card (always the left-most), Won or Lost:
5 3 L
10 Q W
5 K W
2 6 W
3 7 W
8 A W
6 K W
A 8 L
J 7 L
9 7 L
4 6 W
9 4 L
6 8 L
7 6 L
10 2 L
J 2 L
5 K W
10 3 L
9 Q W
8 K W
8 J W
7 6 L
A K L
K J L
6 4 L
K 9 L
J 4 L
J 9 L
9 3 L
8 5 L
6 3 L
4 9 W
7 9 W
8 3 L
8 A W
8 K W
A 10 L
5 8 W
9 8 L
9 K W
Q 5 L
4 K W
9 2 L
5 9 W
A Q L
8 Q W
Q 7 L
3 6 W
K 8 L
5 9 W

That was 22 Wins & 28 Losses (there were also about 4 or 5 ties, which I ignored).
So MUCH better than yesterday, though still not 50/50.
The skeptical might say they tweaked the software after my first post...
So I will periodically check the doubling results over the coming weeks & see what I get.

10 A W
6 5 L
9 J W
2 4 W
A 5 L
Q 10 L
9 8 L
6 3 L
4 5 W
10 K W
K 7 L
3 9 W
K 3 L
J 4 L
Q 4 L
4 Q W
3 A W
5 Q W

J 6 L

6 4 L
2 4 W
Q 7 L
7 3 L

24 Losses to 26 Wins - so looks like my earlier experience could have just been an unfortunate fluke of bad luck...
