Add in the sloooooooooooow payments, general non responsiveness and the continued c#ck ups which have been ongoing since late 2007. Clearly demonstrates they hold affiliates in contempt.

With Joe's account closure, that seals it IMO...VA are 100% unmitigated ass clowns.

    Yet another entry for DOCH.

    Edit:
    Vegas Affiliates Warning

    Cheers

Hey PDJoe. I am sorry to hear that. Completely sucks. I hope you are not losing a bunch of money over this. I will be putting my word into VA today to reinstate your account.

I just tried Skype and although Ellen is active today, working on her computer, etc, she is not responding.

I first removed them from the 150 microgaming games we had them listed under.

I have now added WARNING!!! to the title page.

Now adding link to dodgycasinos (Thanks Dave) and anyone else feel free to send me where you are Blacklisting them so I can link there.

    Ok, I just re-rogued them.

Additionally my site ranks #4 for Grand Hotel Casino. People wishing to link to it are encouraged to. I've held the #1 spot with this term before, and I suggest linking to me so that people can see who Grand Hotel Casino has promoting them.

    Grand Hotel Casino - WARNING!!!

WARNING TO AFFILIATES: this group has used legal threats and everything else to get their way. Word you blacklist pages, do so in a way that you are not saying anything bad about the casinos themselves, but how you would never play there because they have a very cut-throat marketing team behind them and the people who actually own the casinos will not change that. That to me makes the casino dangerous. Always state words in opinion style format (freedom of speech) be careful of your claims.

sorry , one more edit: Don't rely on my statement as legal advice, I am not a lawyer. Thanks

    Thanks Dave and Bernie,

Even if they did reinstate, I wouldn't trust them for as minute. My stats there went to hell shortly after I rogued them last year.

Plenty of good Microgaming programs out there to promote :D

I'm not sure how I want to handle this yet but did want to warn others.

    Be carefull with this group!

Yeah its hard for me Joe. I lost a lot of money with this group. When Monica was there she FOUND 15,000$!!! of mine in an old "media" account. It was tooth and nail getting it from them, but Monica got it for me. I gave them a chance after that. When they got it straight, I was making a couple grand a month again. They were getting up on my lists. I already had media spots for them in my new banner server, when the crossmarketing crap happened (http://www.affiliateguarddog.com/forums/va-you-cross-marketing-w-o-affiliate-tags-t3451.html). Then Ellen and company could not even take down Floridita while they decided what to do. They didn't even address it. Just left the theft to go on. It's still there this morning.

I agree to be careful. Remember they have Vegas Affiliates as a separate entity to the casinos, so don't bad mouth the casinos without referencing the fact that you don't trust the casinos is because they selected a crooked marketing arm, and that in your opinion making that type of association puts them in a place where you'd never trust them.

    Wow Bernie!

I'm happy to hear you got the money. Affiliates shouldn't have to fight for their earnings. I hope they don't close your account to for speaking out!

Also thanks for the advice, I'll revisit my page and make sure its clear.

I wonder if I am being singled out here too or if they have closed other affliate accounts.....time will tell I guess.

    Thanks again Bernie!

    Vegas Affiliates rogue again!?

They are CURRENTLY (despite having knowledge of the issue) cross-marketing our players to Floridita Club Casino.
They are closing accounts of people exercising free speech.

Can I get an update on whether or not these are grounds for black-listing (on AGD)? Currently instead of removing the offending links, they are leaving it up to steal from us while they "fix" the problem. I could have fixed it in 20 seconds.

    VA, this is unacceptable.

Affiliates, DO NOT PROMOTE VEGAS AFFILIATES! They are a rogue outfit and will steal your residual income if you speak publicly about their unethical behavior. They threatened to do this to me last year, and today they actually did it to pdjoe. (Actually they did steal a big chunk of my residual income as punishment -- but not quite all of it -- yet.)

Obviously nothing has changed at VA -- threats and bully tactics are still the norm.

I think VA should be re-rogued at AGD, but that's just my personal opinion.

Edit: My situation was resolved on 11/26/2010. See this post.

    Thanks Dave!

It's always one thing or another with this group. Always looking for a way to cut the affiliates out of commissions.

In the end, its just bad business

    Dear pdjoe,

We apologize for this temporary action taken from our side to put your account on Inactive status. The reason is that we have tried to contact you for months and sent continuous e-mails (registered in our system and whois), they either returned with an error or haven't been replied to. This action was to get in contact with you to resolve all current issues *(your account is active now). We have contacted you by PM about your contact details.

    Thank you for your understanding

I really find this troubling actually. You seem to have found pdjoe here at AGD. Everyone knows where to find most affiliates. There is AGD,GPWA,CAP ect.. If you really wanted to contact him you would of came here or GPWA and pmed him. Everyone knows this.

Interesting the account is opened again after being called out on this.

    Months!?? Oh yeah ok.

    Dear GFPC,

Thanks for expressing your concerns. We were expecting an affiliate to get in touch with us after our continuous attempts. That's all.

    Thanks,

This is the part that worries me. It is , very much, reminding me of the days with sebastian threatening affiliates. This tells me that VA is still willing to hold rightfully earned commissions if they do not like something.

Threats and commission stealing should not be part of this equation. I understand the account is re-activated, that is great but how do we know this is the only account like this? How do we know something else isn't going to trip VA to close accounts or lower commission like in the past.

The rogue status was implemented for this exact type of behavior :(

    Dear Guard Dog,

As we have explained earlier, this temporary action was taken to get in touch with affiliate.

The status was re-instated immediately after we have got this response and were able to PM pdjoe.

We apologize once again for any confusion caused.

    Thanks,
    Vegas Affiliates

I don't find anything about this being temporary!! I find it hard to believe that you closed Joe's account because emails were bouncing! You closed his account because he stood up and warned other affiliates of your totalitarian attitude!!

I am going to remove your brands once again from my forum nothing I have been ready about as of late makes me comfortable enough to even give you another chance!!

They state they made continuous attempts.

I suppose that means they really care about the affiliate. How thoughtful of them.

    I haven't signed up obviously

Guys, my issue with VA was resolved this afternoon.

Ellen from VA contacted me and wanted to find out what I was talking about in my earlier post. I explained my situation, and within a few hours, the damage inflicted by Sebastian had been reversed. ;D

IMO, Ellen does seem genuinely interested in fixing as many issues as possible. If you have something that personally affects you, I would recommend getting in touch with her.

Free speech in lieu of the $10K they screwed me for...adds up to a lot of bad press for Vegas Affiliates & their casinos.

    Note to VA
Affiliates should not have to take screen caps of stats on a daily basis. However that exactly what you expected from me.

Vegas affiliates and Mini Vegas are a pack of thieving sewer rats.

    Cheers

    :)

I think we've all stated loud and clear that we'd like the Floridita Club Lounge logo removed from the CasinoVIPLounge site. Amazing what they can do in hours, but they can't remove a link in a few seconds.
