*** UPDATE ***

Issue is solved and I got all my articles

see my comments

*** /derail ***

Pls do your research and do not pay in advance when ordering a few articles.

Certainly not every content writer here is not a fraud.

But this is my experience :

I had ordered 10 articles from casinowritingman and he only sent me 2.

After a lot of email conversations no replies from him anymore.

Oh well not a biggie but needless to say I will not pay in advance for newbie writers anymore unless proven and reliable.

No offense man, but with the ultra cheap rates he was charging what did you expect. I even called him out about that on his first post here.

That post now seems to be missing in action. o_O

$100 for 10,000 words is $0.01 per word, and then you are prepared to discount even further. o_O That is really low. Are you trying to be the new "Amazon" of online content delivery? I've seen amateurs charge more than that.

As a new member to the forum I highly doubt that you would get full payment up-front. The best I ever offer any new writer is 50% upfront and balance on successful delivery. Some only want full payment after delivery. Full payment upfront leaves no incentive on the table.

Honestly. I have managed to get this get casino writing malarkey down to a tee now. I can produce quality content VERY quickly. I know about just about every popular slot machine, as well as a few of the lesser-known ones. I have a rough idea as to the features they boast, the way they look etc. I am now at the point where research into ANYTHING related to casinos is very minimal. This allows me to produce high-quality, unique content at a discounted price.

I also have a minimum 'writing target' to hit each day in terms of earnings. I felt that I have had the most success with these prices (some of my clients are paying a little bit more). By charging these rates, it allows me to hit my daily writing target a little easier. If I could score 5,000 words per day minimum from this site, then I would be as happy as a clam.

I have never really worked any other way than "full payment up front" (bar with 1 or 2 clients that I have been working with close to 5 years now). I only really wanted 100% up front from the smaller projects. I have been 'burned' before, and it always seems to be on the smaller orders. I am more than happy to take 50% up front with the balanced paid on delivery. With the 'larger' words I was thinking more milestones such as; 25% up front. Then upon completion of 10,000 words, the full balance for those. Then I produce the next 10k unpaid, then the balance, then the next 10k etc. etc.

Everyone I've worked with takes payment on delivery. Adding, $0.01 per word is insanely low (imo).

@inspiration - I'm actually quite surprised <snip 30th Oct 2017 - text removed by me, due to confirmation of paid articles received by OP> your generally a savvy webmaster.

<snip>
This is a good lesson for everyone not to be become complacent.

Edit:
Did quick G search for "casinowritingman" and it came up with only 8 results, most from here. Even if a writer claims they're new, it's a good idea to run a search on their alas.

The content was sent to him, and several people have received content from me. I am going to work through the issues with him.

I have beeen working as a content writer for six years. Not really in this business of scamming people ;)

The guy even confirmed he had received SOME of it. If I was going to scam, I wouldn't bother to write any of it. I certainly wouldn't accept payment via PayPal on digital content. That would be silly. It would never work as a scam like that.

I have responded to the guy's email (which he sent to my normal email address) and I will rectify the issue.

I will also resend ANY content ordered through AGD which people did not confirm to have receive to ensure that there are no issues with it :). That was 30+ orders (excluding the people who charged back after receiving, which tends to happen a bit at lower rates).

Those people will receive their content from me early on tomorrow morning/maybe mid-afternoon and it will come from my personal email address rather than my gmail address. I will send 2 emails to them. 1 with a new DropBox link (different to the one they received before) and 1 with a file attachment.

I do not like being called a scammer, for obvious reasons. Writing content is the only way I make money so it kinda ruins my business for me :)

I deleted the thread as I had 4 people receive content and charge back on it after they confirmed that it was quality content and they liked it. None of them were members of this site (as far as I can tell) so I figured it was not worth my time as I ended up making a massive loss on it. This was my first time accepting payment via PayPal and working with clients outside of the UK, Sweden and the USA (where I have a bank account in each country so easier to accept payment directly to those)

Kinda hard to dedicate your time to writing 30k+ for a person, then have them charge back on it when you have low rates to begin with. You suddenly lose 2-3 days of pay.

I have six years of delivering 10-20k words per day.

I have no idea how this guy didn't receive his content (and I sent it from GMail numerous times), but 2 people seem to have the issue and I am going to rectify it within the next day or so when I am by a computer.

The guy has now contacted me via my personal email, which will allow me to deal with the problem a bit easier.

I don't just disappear on people and I don't care if the guy is labelling me as a scammer right now. I am going to resend his content to him, because that is what I do.

@inspiration - I'm actually quite surprised you got scammed by this, given, your generally a savvy webmaster.

Unfortunately it's fraudsters like Ryan, who make it hard for genuine/sincere content writers to get work. This is a good lesson for everyone not to be become complacent.

Edit:
Did quick G search for "casinowritingman" and it came up with only 8 results, most from here. Even if a writer claims they're new, it's a good idea to run a search on their alas.

I am not a fraudster.

And I am not a new writer by any stretch of the imagination. i have been producing around 10-20k of content for websites per day for over 6 years. I am going to rectify the problem here, and resend ANYBODY's content who has not confirmed they received it. I will do that by midday tomorrow. All the emails will come from my personal email account.

I took 30+ orders through AGD. That excludes the 4 that were charged back. I had a problem with my internet connection the past couple of days, but those people (I don't even know whether they found me here or got me through a recommendation) are starting to receive their content.

This was one of the original orders I took from that post. I think it was order number 6. I think he and one other had an issue with receiving the content.

10 people never got back to me after the content being sent to them, although I assume they were happy. But, I will resend the content to everybody to make sure that it has all been received and everybody is fine with it.

I am not in the business of scamming and never have been. Most of my casino clients are regular clients who have returned to me numerous times.

I hope this chap edits his post when he receives the rest of his content by midday tomorrow.

-edit-

Apparently it is just this chap and one other guy who never got back to me about the content. Well, this guy did (obviously). I will be resending both those orders by midday tomorrow.

I will update this thread when both orders have been resent.

Also, the reason he stopped receiving responses was because that email address is not my standard email address. I used it solely for selling on here. For some reason, my phone stopped sending push notifications when I received an email there so I kinda missed it. That is a genuine mistake. I normally respond to emails within minutes and he can confirm that for almost all emails up until the past couple of days, he received a response within an hour.

But, please don't just jump to "oh. this guy must be a scammer or a fraud" because I am not and I don't get why that was your first thing to jump to.

I am always EASILY reachable via Skype (I gave this guy my Skype) and my other email addressess. Hell, people can call me if they want. My business telephone number AND my mobile number can easily be found online and I will always accept the telephone call unless it is the early hours, but even then I regularly pick up the telephone at 2/3am if it is urgent.

Issues arose. I get that and I will solve them, but I really do not scam and don't ever plan on doing so :) No money to be made in working with somebody once, is there? I mean, the second you scam somebody, you get posts like this and then you don't work in the casino industry again. Since abou 95% of my income comes from gambling writing, I can't really afford for that to happen.

IMO I have been very patient with you because the 2 articles I received are from August 1st.

After a lot of back and forth you would add the content via the dropbox link which you promised to do so many times but you had to alter some articles etc etc.

You claim to write 1000s of words each day so why the hesitation ?

You seemed to received all my emails before so why all of a sudden is there a problem ?

Besides that your other clients have used it also so you never checked your gmail again ?

I paid you in advance so my obligation has been met.

Now you need to solve this issue.

FWIW : I do not use skype and if you had just sent me the articles this "complaint" would never have happened.

I will update this thread once I have received the content.

I have no idea why push notifications stopped. I did get a new phone, but I figured GMail push notifications would continue, but apparently not. That was a mistake on my part for assuming.

As I said, that Gmail account was for AGD only. Most of my clients go through the email address you contacted today or recommendations through Skype. I moved all clients (bar you and one other person) to my Skype, and many have placed further orders through me since.

Once I deleted the thread on here (2 weeks ago, I guess?) I never checked it again unless I received a notification. The last message you sent me was 6 days ago. The last time I responded was 7 days ago. It was not that big of a gap. I have now read your emails from that and responded to you.

I admit, I had some issues where I was not happy with the content and I did rewrite.

When I get home tomorrow morning (about 9am-ish) I will resend for you from the email address you contacted me through today.

You say you received 2, but I will resend all 10 for you as I have no idea what you did/did not receive. I have an inkling, but best not to go on that inkling. So, the email will be sent from sales@...

And earlier he claimed to have written a bit over 500 000 words, now he's written for 6 years. A normal page is 500+ words. That's 1 000 normal pages. In 6 years. (If so, it's 300 words a day) The last year I've written 500 000+ words... Getting paid for each word, you should expect that these numbers would make sense.

What?

Where did I say I have written a bit over 500,000 words? I did say I have written over six years. Started in Feb 2012 full time.

If you read the initial post, I did say I would be happy with 5,000 words a day from this site (which I managed to nail), but I don't recall me saying I have written a bit over 500,000 words.

I said this:

"I have six years of delivering 10-20k words per day."

and then the initial post I put on here (which somebody quoted)

"If I could score 5,000 words per day minimum from this site, then I would be as happy as a clam."

And yes. This week I have written probably not as much as I would hope as I am constantly running between countries right now. I think...maybe 30k total, mainly because one of those people was paying a considerable amount more than my usual rate (this was not casino work), and so I dedicated time to him. The other 20k was casino work for a client I nailed from here and that is currently winging its way to him and he should have it confirmed by about 5am, give or take.

This client is getting his missing content by midday-ish tomorrow anyway. No issues there. I have informed him of that and he will update the post (I hope) once he receives. That is the reason for the hesitation. I am in the midst of travelling back to England and since I have my phone, a USB stick, and no computer, it kinda makes it hard to do much this moment in time.

So, please tell me where I said I have written 500,000 words in six years. I am just not seeing it. If not, retract your statement.

I like to think I can string a sentence together, bur who know?"

Ah. Got it!

The key words there are 'casino affiliates'.

Up until about a year ago, maybe, the bulk of my work was NOT casino affiliates. It was a mixture of writing copy for shops, Amazon affiliate sites, and a LOT of legal writing (I hold a law degree). On occasion, I produced blog posts for some major UK casinos, but I stopped that (my decision, wasn't paying well enough for the work involved and yes, the prices were higher than I am charging here).

Other casino clients have NOT been affiliates. I ghostwrote a few of the 'betting' books you find on Amazon.co.uk (at least 7 of which have had over 500 sales, which is decent for an eBook like that or so I am told). I had been working with a client for a couple of years who ordered a LOT of casino articles (not affiliate). She started recommending me to people who do work in the affiliate industry as she used to be an affiliate manager whom many of you have likely worked with. She recommended me to some of the people who used to use her affiliate scheme. This started to ramp up the amount I was writing a week for affiliates. Surprisingly, you can work in the gambling niche without working for an affiliate. I have produced PLENTY of reviews for non-affiliate companies. A lot of my content was bought from me and sold as PLR.

Most of the casino affiliate clients started to notice that my content converted INCREDIBLY well and they kept coming back for me.

The 500k was SOLELY for casino affiliates :) It excludes the heaps of work I have done away from the affiliate market, the tons of work I have done in other niches etc.

If I factor in ALL the work over the past few years, it is probably coming up to about 12 million words. So, short of 6k per day. For a short while (about 1.5 years), I was never writing more than 1.5k per day for a legal site, so it does sway those statistics a little. Without counting every single article I have written (and I do keep a copy of every article I have ever written), it is about 12 million words.

The 500k was an estimate for affiliates only. Wouldn't be surprised if about 3-4 million of the words were casino related, although I am not too fussed about checking those as I file completed content by month, not by niche or client.

Update : I have not received the articles you promised days ago

We will take our measures against this person and write off the loss.

As I said, I will PM it to you on here then :)

I did resend via email, when you confirmed you had not received (I am going to just assume HostGator is messing up for me here, nobody ever use them!), I said I would send via here as quickly as I could (as I was travelling)

Check in twelve hours-ish, then you can confirm here you have received them :)

Sorry. I missed the response you posted here on Thursday.

-edit-

Sent him 50% via PM that was on this computer, which is more than he had before. I am now heading to another computer to send the final 50%.

He has most of the content now. There are one or two I am changing as they were 'time sensitive' pieces (mainly due to them being news articles and I just noticed) and then it will be wrapped up.

I have sent it to him via:

- Email
- PM on here

So, there is absolutely zero chance he has not received it now (although, I am awaiting confirmation)

I will update again when he has 100% and you lot can see I have never tried to scam anybody. I had a genuine issue which I am trying to fix.

He seems to have been offline for the past 19 days here, but he has :) He didn't confirm it, but I sent them three seperate ways so the chances of him not receiving were minimal (i also sent via PM here, but no idea if he had seen that yet)

He actually didn't get the ones he originally ordered. Since it messed up so badly with the whole sending fiasco, I actually rewrote many of them and just gave him up to date versions (what he ordered was related to 'latest' stuff. Things from six months ago certainly weren't latest)

Hopefully he responds her soon.

Since I have not heard from him in a while, I am assuming he has EVERYTHING now, though because if he hasn't he would have told me.
