WTF?

Did anyone else get one of these? If so, is the "cid" in the links the same as mine? (i.e. is it also 31)?

Following up on this thread... Did anyone else receive the cross-marketing mailer from Vegas Sky, or was I the only one?

If someone from Vegas Sky could comment on this, too, that would be great. Thanks!

I haven't gotten this one... All I get from them is a weekly mailer saying 'You've sent Players!' :) Even though I haven't sent any players :(

Nope, I didn't and I've been playing there since they opened and get emails from them all the time. Could be though because I'm located in the states.

Me too. Didnt get this one. This is crazy!!!! :emoticon-0121-angry:mad:
I also get the mailer " You've sent players" which makes no sense. Other rivals send you a report each week (mondays) with the number of players you've sent in the previous week.

I have sent Ian from Vegas Sky a message alerting him to this thread

Yeah, I love getting the useless "How much have you made?" emails. Instead of including the details right there in the message like other Rival programs, Vegas Sky tells you to "log into your affiliate account" to see how much you've made.

Alright, I've just had a chat with one of the owners at Vegas Sky regarding this. This is what he had to say...

Vegas Sky says:
Unfortunately this is quite simple......

Vegas Sky says:
I asked marketing to come up a way of cross marketing the lottery to the casino and working with Rival to find out how aff tags can be mapped back to players sent from the casino to the lottery and tying them up to the aff structure on the lottery and paying affs out on this basis. I made it clearer than daylight to present to me the plan of this exercise.......
Vegas Sky says:
so I could veto the plan and ensure all angles were covered. I was unavailable on most of this week and an internal marketing manager took it on his own cognence to get "his side going" quickly and prepared the mailer and sent it out........
Vegas Sky says:
Nothing was supposed to happen until the 29th if March as we are still in an agreement on the lottery side with a network....so this guy was completely out of line.......
Vegas Sky says:
Part 2 of this cross marketing was to punt the lottery sites to all the affiliates at the end of the month, following us completing our agreement with company X and working with our existing aff to help us with the lottery sites......
Vegas Sky says:
I have viewed this in such a serious light that this manager has been removed from the company with immediate effect.....so look out for some bad posts from an unhappy employee...nothing I can do though, I had to take action......
Vegas Sky says:
I have also instructed our tech team to map back all players registered and deposited ont eh lottery site to map them back to the casino affiliate and add them to thats affs revenue stream....
Vegas Sky says:
Other than a big apology for someone doing something completely out of line, we can only make good where one of our (ex) employees have erred.

I've received the email. I also receive the useless "you have new players" email...which are never there. With that said, atleast I'm getting some type of email from them. Communication is horrid....takes 7+ days for a email repsonse, etc, etc, etc. Along with other issues we've encountered, we no longer promote them.:emoticon-0121-angry

i am so glad i came in and read this thread, i get the damn "you've sent players" email every single week, but every single week, i try to log in to check my stats, and it won't let me!! i have decided to just not promote anymore, i am sick and tired of the stupid emails, that either are correct or not, but it doesn't matter because i can't view my stats anyway,, and i have sent emails and tried calling and to no avail. can't even get a answer on the phone!

does anyone have a good number to call that i might get through on and get my account fixed?

thanks, and have a great week!

Well dam why didn't I see this thread earlier. Not knowing any better I applied for their aff program and was rejected. After reading this thread no wonder:eek:

Hi everyone! Being that I just joined the AGD forum, I thought I should jump in and make my first post.

Regarding Vegas Sky.......I have not received the "cross marketing" email but I do receive the "you've sent us players" email every week (without actually sending them players that week). I am able to log in and see my stats with no problem. And (this is the most important part of my post! LOL) I have received my payments from them every month like clockwork.

Take Care
