They must be running out of real news stories to write a news article about a thread on AGD :)

There is something going on with Visa right now it's been like this for a few months, I get more sign ups than ever but conversions have pulled back, this month seen some growth maybe due to end of summer but i know there is a CC issue going on right now.

lol I think they do, as I've done more digging and I finally got it out of one of my affiliate managers, apparently there's a visa issue which must be having a massive impact on FTDs. How's that for a F*cking kick in the teeth!

The Visa issues began back in late May IIRC. They have persisted since then to varying degrees. Some operators have seemingly found ways to mitigate it, but overall, percentages are still down noticeably from before.

I would also chime in that BP is one of our best converting set of brands.

It started dropping around June. Most probably it's because of general summertime low-season. The first half of September brought some stabilisation but still - the ratio between NRC's and NDC's is worrying...

It's the same with me, Kadabra. Betting Partners doesn't make me anywhere near as much money as it used to. Last month, I didn't even make one cent with them. They used to be much better than this only late last year.

Stats started screwing up on the 25th of last month. Multiple days have screwy stats... the 25th, 28th, and 30th of September jump out at me. There are probably more that are incomplete.

All of the stats in October are borked. Missing data in multiple categories.

I was told by another affiliate that BP is aware of the problem and will be rerunning the data. Much like happened last month, and the month before... This new integration of programs is not going smoothly and a bit disconcerting at this point.

Yep, i saw the same in the end of the month. But now I see also the conversions stopped and not sure it's the stats this time.

In looking at our stats, one of two things has happened.

1) Stats data for conversions (among other things) is incorrect.
2) They completely stopped accepting credit cards (the only way our conversions are this low).

September turned out to be a record month for us and saw an obvious turnaround in conversions overall. For me this relates to the change in temperatures/weather. A few affs definitely saw an upturn last month. Maybe just coincidence as the temp dropped?

That being said, converting players in the US market is still very tricky but I'm seeing some great results and things are looking good as we head out to close out the year. WOW! Only 3 months of 2018 left, crazy how fast this year has gone.

US became a little tougher through the last couple of years, but I just took a short look at our stats, and, speaking frankly, they look promising!

Our August conversion rate is > than July, September is > than August and October already looks better than September!
Honestly, I am very excited about the nearest months, though i`m not sure if this is about conversion getting higher or Christmas coming closer :D

Maybe Martyn is right about the temperature, because it`s still comparably cold after winter in the southern hemisphere and Australia is sky-rocketing for us

Anyway, let`s see what future brings us :)

Some interesting posts in this thread.

Over the last few months, have you guys seen an increase in deposits via Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, if you accept them?

From BP:

You may have noticed we’re experiencing data synching issues right now.

We wanted to touch base and let you know your traffic is still being tracked correctly. You can track your traffic by looking at the “Clicks #” column in the Best Partners reporting tool.

We’re all hands on deck making sure this is corrected as soon as possible.

I figured as much.

I still see problems with October data. However, we just checked September data and all of the days that we thought were only partially reported were fixed.

Of course! We have definitely seen an increase in deposits with Bitcoin, i believe this has something to do with the fact that we have improved this deposit option and now funds are reflected in the player account much faster.
Hopefully you will see our brands on "deposit-with-bitcoin" websites pretty soon ;)

I think the price of bitcoin has contributed to this.
It has been more stable for the second half of 2018, no large volatility.
So people are more likely to use it as a deposit method. They don't see crypto payments as possible large losses, for example if they buy it today and next day it drops 20% in value - noone likes that. The more stable bitcoin's price becomes the more we will see it used as payment method I presume.

July was really bad, August was better, but only better than a really bad July. September was really good for me though. can't just be the weather, was too bad to put it down to that, the important thing it's that it's improved though.
