Dear Affiliates

Unibet Group plc has today signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the share capital of iGame Holding plc and its subsidiaries this also includes iGame Affiliates, the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to complete in the second half of the third quarter 2015.

I understand that with such an announcement our affiliate partners will have a lot of questions as to what happens going forward, iGame Group will continue to function independently to the main Unibet Group and as such the affiliate business will not be merged and will continue to be run as two separate business.

If you have any questions relating to iGame Affiliates please contact me via one of themethods below and if you have any question regarding Unibet Affiliates please contact them directly.

Regards

Given Unibet are rogued here, while iGame not be absorbed now, we all know what Unibet is capable of.
With all due respect to you Shaun, I think affiliates should be wary here... just sayin

No offense, but Referback said the same thing.... and they were probably the TOP in affiliate-friendliness as a program over the years. And now look at them.

I cannot comment on Refer back but I can confirm that we are not merging the affiliate business, i think for affiliates this purchase is actually great news if you think about Unibet as a brand they have one of the best sports books in the business, they have a fantastic poker and bingo offering add in we could take advantage of the local licenses that they have such as UK, DK, EE plus many others how can this be bad for affiliates if we build our brands to make even more none for affiliates.

For the record... I'm not accusing you of BS'ing us Shaun. You've always been a great guy and AM.

I can confirm that we are not merging the affiliate business

I and other affiliates were told an identical story about the Referback/Wagershare merger.

However on August 1'st 2014 when it became offical, there were mass sackings and it became obvious it wasn't a merger at all. Instead the Rogued Wagershare were now calling the shots. Playing the Devil's advocate... Given Unibet are rogued at numerous aff forums, it would be dumb on their part to let the cat out of the bag. Maybe they're pissing in your pocket here too. just sayin.

Thanks for the compliments.

For the record this was not a merge this was a 100% buyout from Unibet but with that in mind they want iGame Group to run as is, as a company we are super hyper local with the exception of 24hbet, for this reason they do not want to touch a business that will add huge value to Unibet's share price.

Just as side thought, who is to say that i will not be able to have some influence with Unibet's affiliate program and make it once again loved by you all!!

Enjoy the weekend.

Shaun

As I posted in the Unibet thread some time ago:
https://www.affiliateguarddog.com/community/threads/unibet-affiliates-predatory-terms.258/page-2
They have never "sanctioned" me for no clicks or lack of NDPs (even when I stopped promoting them for over a year), and because I signed up before NCO was imposed in 2011 - I have never had to suffer that with them either.
So maybe they are not as bad now as some would make out...?

Having said that - I would NEVER sign up with them (or anyone else) today if NCO was going to be applied to my account.

Looks like Unibet is gonna challenge Betsson for biggest Scandinavian betting company online.

I think once the purchase of iGame is complete Unibet will have a higher market value than Betsson, I would think that with the purchase of iGame they will also beat them in Scandinavia but i can't confirm.
