I just checked two of my Slot Power links and one Vanguard link and none of them are redirecting. They just give me an "Oops this link appears to be broken" page. I can login to First Gaming though.

yes first gaming partners is online and I can login too
the links to the casinos are dead right now

Half an hour ago my links did redirect to Manhattan Slot
So something is going on there, and I do not trust this at all.

What is next?
Will the chit with Rival ever stop!?

Morning all,

Thanks for raising this Belgamo.

First off can I just confirm that CWC have not purchased either of these two casinos, nor the domain or anything else to do with the casinos, including the affiliate program.

I checked into this and our business relationship with these URL's extends as far as an affiliate account. I had no prior knowledge as to how they were going to market our casinos, what contact had been made with you guys or even the dates when they shut the doors.

Regards to previous earnings with First Gaming Partners we are not responsible for these nor are we accountable for the apparent lack of contact from them with regards to closure.

I will try make contact and find out what plans are in place for any outstanding affiliate payments/earnings and report back.

Has anyone heard back from or tried to contact your affiliate manager at First Gaming Partners? ???

Don't know for how long our links did redirect to Manhattan Slots
but how I see this, they did use the traffic of affiliates to redirect players to Manhattan Slots, using their CWC aff ID?

WOW!
Should they not be rogued immediatly?

P.S. Thanks for your post Martyn

I do not know 100% what is going on with them. Been trying to find the email address that I had, but I think it is lost with the computer crash :(

I will say that they cannot be doing well. They were the group I was MOST expecting to sell or go under the quickest. Too many indicators here.

Martyn, since this relationship with these URL's extends as far as an affiliate account like you state above, you have to have an email address to "this affiliate" that set this account up correct?

Obviously this affiliate had to be connected to Slot Power & Vanguard...

I think the least you can do for us Slot Power & Vanguard affiliates here is to post this affiliates email address so we can at least contact them and find out wtf is going on.

I mean whoever this affiliate is, they are clearly robbing us of our Rival traffic to send to you brother...correct? Are you going to be giving this affiliate credit for this traffic?

Jeeze, am I the only one here who thinks like this or is this thought process totally off base here?

Very true, but you can't blame Martyn for that. I don't think publishing the email of any affiliates is a good thing - not even in this situation because it would set precendent.

But I very much hope Martyn is talking to whoever this is... maybe he can forward mails for us?

Are we going to get paid?

I agree with you completely and take it even a step further. Martyn, you need to shut down this affiliate account immediately pursuant to your fraud clause which claims the following:

CWC Terms said:
2.10 "Fraud Traffic" means Purchases or traffic generated at the Site through illegal means or in bad faith to defraud the system, regardless of whether or not it actually causes us harm. Fraud Traffic includes but is not limited to Spam, false advertising and unauthorized use of any third party copyrights or trademarks.

and

CWC Terms said:
3.5 Good Faith Marketing. You will not knowingly or unknowingly benefit from known or suspected Fraud Traffic. Even if you did not knowingly generate the Fraud Traffic, we reserve the right to withhold the amount generated by the Fraud Traffic from your Marketing Fees.

This is completely disreputable, IMO, and is not the path CWC wants to go down (again, IMO).

I luv Martyn just as much as the next affiliate, but...that's beside the point and IMO it would be a rogue move on Martyn's part to in fact give this affiliate any credit whatsoever for stealing our traffic. This is no different than Club World themselves stealing our traffic if they are going to benefit from it along with this rogue ass affiliate and we wouldn't....correct?

Stop being so PC please, this clearly does not apply in this situation. And screw the precedent it might or might not set too!

Agreed, they should not get paid for our traffic.

Not sure about it being ok to publish the email - and, definitely, never screw a precedent. Precedents come to haunt you.

Ok, so what's PC in this context? Not sure if I should be offended here, lol.

If CWC does not close this affiliate account and demand to stop sending them traffic thru their 2 urls you all know who your friend is in bizz.

Rewardsaffiliates closed the affiliate account from the person run pitbull poker/casino ! hats off for Renee ! ...... C-planet banners are still on it, just an example !

Evening all. I am sure you can appreciate its late here in the UK, gone 10:30pm so I am limited to what I can do right now, however I have been looking into this since I arrived in work this morning.

I dont like knee jerk reactions so I'm conducting a full investigation into this and consulting the bosses also. I am very concerned as to the antics that appear to be happening with the casino URL's in question so hopefully, tomorrow, I will be able to update you all.

Just as a point of reference, going back to the Pitbull case, our banners were also on that site...that affiliates account was also shut down, we may have even been the first, or one of, to do so.

Regards to principle and playing things by the book we are right up there, so once I know the full story the true and proper action will be taken. As a company, the Club World Group have worked hard to build and retain a strong reputation among both players and affiliates.

As a result of this, I still wont be publishing this affiliate or any affiliates email address, rogue or not. I still have to respect data protection and my role as an affiliate manager.

Guru, I luvs ya too! :p
