This thread here at OCS was just brought to our attention and I know myself and others would certainly like to know what is really going on with this player situation where This Is Vegas is refusing to pay a player an $80,000 win especially since myself and many others are still actively promoting you guys...

The thread at OCS was started on July 15th and today at Casinomeister!

Rival Casino - This is Vegas - owe me 80,000

http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/online-casinos/39753-vegas-owe-me-80-000-usd.html#post383383

Could you please respond here "This Is Vegas" to let all of your marketing partners know and hear your side of the story?

Thanks

Sad but not unexpected. Knowing that the owner of this joint was almost bankrupt a few months back explains a lot.

This Is Vegas = Vegas Days = Rockbet = same owner.

This is a very complicated issue because the player has an account with a charge back history on another casino powered by Rival. All the Rival casinos share details about players with bad history (chargebacks, money laundering...).

Here is the expalantion of the player about the issue in the system of SlotoCash posted on another forum.

"So the issue with Sloto Cash - I had been playing at Sloto Cash for quite a few months prior to registering with TIV (I liked or used to like Rival Games). One day Sloto send me an email saying that they received chargebacks from a credit card I had apparently used and wanted me to contact the bank to return those chargebacks. Problem was, the credit card was not mine, there was no way I could contact a bank I did not have an account or credit card with so obviously there was some type of fraudulent activity happening with my account through someone else. Sloto Cash and I came to the resolution that my account would be frozen (I had over $5,000 in my account with them at the time) and they would allow me to play again in three months to ensure that there was no more fraudulent activity on my Sloto account. We came to an agreement which both parties agreed to.""

However, it looks that the problem with SlotoCash was resolved at the moment when a new account in This is Vegas was created. TIV accepted the player's deposit and allowed him to play. The winnings are legit since the bonus T&C were fulfilled.

There are two possible scenarios of what happened and TIV failed in handling both of them.

1st- if this is a fraudelent player why TIV allowed the deposit or at least why did not issue a refund of the funds immediately.

2nd - if this is a legit player why TIV is refusing to pay, but instead is trying to make stories based on old issue that was resolved?

I hope that someone from TIV will post a reply here.

I am going to watch this very carefully. If TIV refuses payment and there is no legitimate reason for it, then they will be rogued just like 1Club Casino (Rich Clicks) was for this same reason. Yes, this means all properties tied to the owner will be rogued - not just TIV.

I'm sick that players are being denied their winnings. It's bad enough that players have to deal with $5k/month or less for winnings payments - but when legitimate winnings are outright being denied, it is considered Rogue (well, by me anyway).

Take a WILD guess why Vegas will put ALL of these casinos out of business when they are able to come online????

EXACTLY on both counts. Sure hope TIV has the integrity to come here and post about this issue.

Otherwise it may not end up purdy, hope it does turn out well for the player but it ain't lookin good.

Something more than a bit fishy about this player's story.
Firstly his description of his play on that slot doesn't sound right at all; wagers too high and expanding wilds where there shouldn't be any.
But also he mentions someone else using a credit card (which was NOT his) to fund HIS Sloto'Cash account... How does that work then?
Finally it turns out this happened many MONTHS ago - why only bring it up now?

Hopefully Max can get to the bottom of it all.

KK I believe the player has been working with affiliate he downloaded the casino from in private for this long time. Not every single player online is aware of forums. I was approached as a member of AGD and asked for advice on how to handle this player, so I referred them to Casino Meister naturally.

Say what! ??

There's those in the affiliate community that know or are aware or have heard rumors of this info and have not stepped forward previously to warn other affiliates that are promoting these casinos?

John has been on the rocks (ya the pun was intended) for some time.
I dropped them last winter when he was having problems paying winners and affs and he decided not to pay affs for progressives.
I thought this was common knowledge...

I was kinda surprized to find out so many people still promote them.

So, John is actually the owner of TiV and RockBet? My understanding was that he was just the affiliate manager and, in fact, is no longer even that.

Quick derail: love the new design and layout. I clicked 'post reply' and found myself in a very different looking forum. Looks good.

I've had both impressions of John :) I don't know which is the truth anymore!

Well, it looks fantastic to me. Even though I'm using a super high resolution (1680 x 1050) it's still super clear for me.

Me neither. There's a lot wrong with this industry right now. The whole UIGEA thing has actually had a seriously adverse impact on how American gamblers are treated by online casinos.

This $80,000 seizure of, what to my mind, appears to be a legitimate win is just the latest example.

Just my quick observation :

I don't know the details of it...... but once I hear "charge back player" that tells me a lot ... normal players don't allow charges to be made on a CC and then go to the bank and say they didn't allow it .... it isn't what honest people do. Rival may have a ton of issues, but I have yet to hear them not pay an honest player.

Said person is the owner, not the affiliate manager, consultant or whatever else he is pretending these days.

Vladi, thanks for the info. If this really is true then it will have a devastating impact on said casinos. Are you like 99.9% certain of this? Is your source of this info truly reliable? I'm not doubting your word here but would just like this confirmed, maybe even once more by another affiliate as well.

PM me if you like, I would appreciate that.

I am 100% certain that John is the owner(or one of the owners), as he told me he was...
So he is the owner, unless he is a liar and stupid and I don't think he is either one of those things.

Again I thought this was common knowledge, as he (John) never hid the fact he was the owner, at least from me, and as far as I know he has never denied owning TIV.

I don't think he's a liar, but despite how much knowledge he obviously has, I wouldn't rule out stupid as a potential because I found his approach to dealing with affs, .. first quite impressive, then quite .... stupid.

His patience for dealing with that which isn't going his way ... was almost non-existent, which from my POV was a very bad trait for an AM, finding out he owned the properties explains how he kept his job as AM when I clearly would have replaced him with someone more comfortable with dealing with people, forsake no matter how good he was at everything else.

John is the owner and I heard he was stepping back to let others run his brands but he is the owner no doubt. I only promote 2 of the casinos in the 400 group as of a yr now since all this crazy shit went down and those are Paradise8 and Cocoa because I know that Jason is honest and not out to screw affiliates or the players. Shame of it is, 400 has 4 brands with different owners so they are stuck with one another, I think to save good brands these 2 good casinos need to leave the other 2 evil casinos... I bet if they had to do it all over again they would not all go into business with each other again!

I stopped promotion of TIV , Rockbet etc when John started getting shady and banning every damn player that won on his brands or any other Rivals that he was told players were winning on. He was once someone I called a friend.... silly me!
