There was period wayback in internet time (circa 1997), when just about every site had an embedded RealPlayer (by RealNetworks) and were playing a song. It's a fad I disliked then and nothing has changed since. Then, when designing a site with flash become all the rage, I was again bombarded with more sites playing songs or loops.

For the record I'm a huge fan of music and play guitar (have a Fender Strat and a kick-ass, hand made, Maton acoustic - http://maton.com.au/) but as far as embedding music on a website, it's a big thumbs down for me. Unless of course the site is about music ;)

I had issues with this new AGD member casinoonfire as he framed my website in 2015 and did not respond to any emails to remove it. I had to use a partner to get it removed.

here you can see I am not telling you a bogus story :

hxxp://casinoonfire.com/land-casino/united-states/mgm-grand-las-vegas-casino.html

just do a google search with "casinoonfire.com" no deposit etc

you will see.

GTFO spammer / (hacker?)

this page have been created , because we have created a world land-based casino Map, an all casino around the world are into it hxxp://xxx.casinoonfire.com/land-casino/worldwide-map.html

its not spam or hacking .... its only iframe... if owner dont want to iframe his website , he can simply remove that function.

I'm not a big fan of iFraming someone elses content. The internet was meant for LINKING to content. It started off as a research tool that would work a lot like the human brain to allow following of an information trail. iFrames - [to me] are a form of just hijacking someone else's content and posing it as your own.

for me i think put an iframe just add more traffic to the iframed website. exemple: google have a copy of all website of the world into his server , and this why went people search term into the engine , a result appear with pic and the content from the original website,, google hijack all the web ? in fact people go on google to see content of other websites into.....

and sometime google just put a nice adv link with the same topic just before our websites ... and you know why.... we accept that... why google send traffic..... like an iframe send visitor to the original website.

It depends on the quality of the site, but I would Highly appreciate someone asking my permission before using an iframe around my content on their site.

As far as background music, I can't stand any website that has autoplay music or videos.. They go along with popups for me, just an annoyance that will lead to a higher bounce rate. Thank of it this way.. Do you think more people are likely to leave just because you don't have any background music?
