Just had an e-mail stating that Aff Coins is now officially being merged into the Best Pay program.

I only recently found out that these two rogue programs are linked, and I have known for quite some time that Aff Coins was also linked to the even more rogue Rome Partners.

Anyone who is working with any of these programs, frankly has rocks in their head.
I can't believe they have the audacity to have a stand at LAC... hopefully there will be baskets of rotting tomatoes and eggs nearby for the use of passing affiliates... ;)

These guys are crooks for sure!
However I think the buck of contention, should be squared at those who accept their crooked money in exchange for a stand at LAC. That's the real issue here!

LAC = London Affiliate Conference.

Once again pockets are being filled with gold, at the expense of the people, who these events are held for.

These are the sponsors and marketing partners. GPWA, CAP and I'm pretty sure IGBAffiliate and Calvin Ayer are well aware of the unethical history of Aff Coins, Best Pay and Rome Partners. Yet they obviously don't give a rats about affiliates, which also seems to align to that attitude of the LAC Platinum and Gold sponsors too.

Affiliates are seen as a commodity, not unlike a barrel of oil or a chunk of coal.

If these events were boycotted en mass by affiliates, we might stand a chance of regaining some ground. However that ain't going to happen, is it! Your attending this event KK, yet you complain about this stand at LAC. If your not part of the solution, your part of the problem... just saying ;)

These guys are pure barf in a hat.

When affiliates go to the conferences free and the operators have to pay, guess what the product being sold is? Here's a hint: it ain't the affiliate programs.

yeah, it is really sad. I don't understand pimping out shit programs. I try as hard as I can to keep our sponsors clean at the expense of making money. I wouldn't have it any other way. It's also why I can't create a magazine or an event - the programs that pay those fees are the ones who are the shittiest of the bunch - stealing our commissions and using those commissions to recruit more unsuspecting partners.

I understand what you are saying, and I agree that about 25% of those with stands at LAC are as rogue as shit...
But, meeting with the honest programs face-to-face has always been VERY important and beneficial to me as an ethical affiliate trying to only promote the "good guys".
To me it is a great event (despite the rogue element) and one I will always attend. If you weren't on the other side of the planet I think that you would probably agree with me too...
(London is only 60 miles (2 hours by train) from me!)

I hear you and yes there are "good guys" at these events and in the industry too.

Thing is though, at least each month (lately) some program is flipping to the dark-side etc.

EG - Not in a millions years did I think Referback would merge with Wagershare (buffalo). Both BP and FA are now working and refuse to stop working with hackers/criminals. Yet are welcomed to LAC. Where is the accountablity?

Affiliates are treated like cannon fodder. When it reality, if it wasn't for affiliates, the GWPA and CAP would be ghost towns. These places claim to hold our best interests at heart. Instead are supporting rogues and other dodgy programs.

The GPWA and CAP should be standing up and saying to the organiser(s) of these events, we can't give your conferences credence, when your allowing rogues and other undesirable programs stands or entry into these events. It's pretty simple.

Is AGD the only affiliate forum who has ethics? It seems that way!
