Strange email

Hi

I have reecived a strange email coming from someone at Club Gold Casino called Alvin (ms@clubgoldcasino.com). Here's the email:

"Hi,

My site hxxp://www.clubgoldcasino.com added a link to your site (hxxp://mywebsite.com/es/club-gold-casino)
before and I'm kindly requesting you to remove it.

Also, if you have similar sites with links to Club Gold Casino, please remove it, too, or send me the list of the sites.

Thank you in advance for your help and I'm looking forward to have this issue dealt with promptly.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Can someone tell me if this email comes from one of Club Gold AM's or not?

It's strange that the email comes from clubgoldcasino.com and not clubgoldpartners.com and he ask me to remove the link only from the spanish version of my website and not from other languages. Plus, this Alvin contacted me through the email form and not on my contact email used for registering at Club Gold Partners.

I've send an email to clubgoldpartners but have no response yet.

Any thoughts?

Carmel, I don't know what's going on but It's getting kinda wired. Your answer to my previous problem didn't solve it. I just get this email from the same Alvin (you know who this is because you tell me that it was hired by Club Gold for SEO services):

Subject*: Club Gold Casino Link Removal
Message*: This is my second email and this serves as an appeal to remove all our links (Club Gold Casino) as soon as possible. The result we garnered from different pro tools indicates that your links to our site badly influence the status or ranking of our site.
If this appeal will be disregarded once again, you will leave us with no choice but to include your site to Google’s Disavow Tool, which will not be beneficial to your site. We demand that you make the removal in the soonest possible time to avoid any conflict in the future. We are asking for you to reconsider removing all links to our site in the next 5 days.

We would appreciate a confirmation or a reply regarding this matter. Thank you very much.

I don't know what's the problem but please solve this problem ASAP because I'm in the process of taking off all your links.

Hi,

few days ago I got the same email to remove links from my website

and I found a solution: I removed the links and I closed the ClubGoldPartners account

I propose to close ClubGoldPartners program if do not like to be advertised

had this happen too with a portal. they are using some service to find shady links to remove from their site. to try to combat penguin / panda penalty... when the portal owner found out they told me to ignore the service. they didnt use the disavow tool

Ok, this is the last time. I don't know if this people are stupid or they really don't want me to advertise them no more. I just receive this:

their index is by getting these links removed. I REALLY NEED your
help!

Please include removing the redirection to my page as well.

Failure to remove the link would require me to file a "Disavow Links"
report with Google. My concern is that if I submit your site, in this
report to Google, they may "flag" your site as "Spammy" or otherwise
not compliance with their guidelines.

The last thing that I want is to have another webmaster go through
this grief!

Your prompt attention to this matter, along with a confirmation that
the link has been removed, would be HIGHLY appreciated.
