Exact headlines and body contents of some of my article pages have been copied and added to this site here below at the home page and two of the other page links that I have found so far and listed below. I wouldn't mind so much if they were giving me linkbacks to my original content, but they're not! Hell, they are even using some of my exact headline titles too.

Original Link: Break da Bank Again ~ 9-Line Video Slot Game Review ~ Gambling Gurus | Online Casinos | USA Casinos

Content Copied Link: xxx.ipennyslots.com/online_slots/break-da-bank-again-9-line-video-slot-game-review-gambli/

*Also, I'm not the only one from here who has been copied there. Some others have as well.

** A lot more of my copied content can be found here on this page as well:

Now what really seems to be strange about this is the fact as best as I can tell is that they are only promting Rival Casinos there from the 400 Group and if you hover over one of the links or click on it you will see the link as casinocontroller xxx.casinocontroller.com/ads/a?id=4181 instead of davincisgold.com/?id=4181 that it redirects to.

Casinocontroller is owned by Rival! So what's going on here??

That sucks Guru. Sorry to hear you were copied. I hope you try contacting that copycat and asking them wtf they're doing. If you do, please let us know the results.. keep us updated.

The wierd part is the casinocontroller domain. Could be the site owner is just a complete idiot . Such an idiot that they have put their Rival links up wrong. Well, we know they're an idiot already, they copied you and others afterall. Some people do things to be malicious. Some people are just dumb and lazy. And.. some people can be all three I guess.

I think that some of the older casinos still have casinocontroller in their URL structure, correct?

Has this person talked to you at all? I hope you've contacted him. I would like to know what he said when you did.

What's going on with that, did he have any explanation?

Nope on both of those ?'s. Since he/she is a private member of the GPWA and is sporting their seal of approval I'm going to call them out in public as I believe it should be and let the audience decide! If that does not shame them enough to remove my copyrighted content then I will of course pursue it with Google.

The best thing I would suggest for them at the moment is to read this thread and then act accordingly.

I think it's purdy obvious there that they have used an article scrapper and maybe even an article spinner with that content that they have listed there.

Yea, I think so too Greek...after I grind in some more public humiliation and garner some better serp's on this thread here, I am on a quest at the moment to drive this point home to any other dweeb out there that thinks it's ok to just scrape, re-spin, copy, mixx it up or any other means they choose to steal copyrighted material....even the creative commons license does not give them this explicit right....

When are publicity rights relevant?

In the U.S., publicity rights allow individuals to control how their voice, image or likeness is used for commercial purposes in public. These rights are relevant to any work that contains human subjects, such as photographs, audio or video interviews, plays, songs, and other spoken or visual content. When transmitting this sort of content, including the voices or images of anyone other than yourself, you may need to get permission from those individuals if you are using their voice or images for commercial purposes. This is a distinct and separate obligation from obtaining the copyright license for the works itself, which only gives you a license from the author (or photographer) but not from the subjects. A Creative Commons license does not waive or otherwise affect the publicity rights of subjects.

And if all of that does not work then I always have the services of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and other applicable intellectual property laws within my reach.

Excuse my late reply, I just don't spend too much time on the forums.

First, I don't manage those sites. I gave them a way for a share rev about 2 years ago.

Second, I contacted the person managing the sites and he said that doesn't even know your website. He searched in Digg an then used articles from an article directory. Did you submit your article to a directory?

Third, I have two full-time writers in house so it will literally take me longer to steal your article than create one.

Last, Get a life my friend.

You're a real piece of work there...Wrong way to end the conversation!!

So you are now denying that you own the Gambling Gazette, the one in the picture below?

You are the person listed in this member profile here in the pic from your profile page on GPWA....correct?

thepichi (2).JPG

Of course you are! That is how the Whois search ties all of the websites together.

You need to give your writers a few lessons in what Diggs TOS are and how the creative commons license affects you and my copyright to my spoken or visual content, not to even mention my publicity rights of subjects within one of my articles. Namely... TheGamblingGuru!

The best thing you can do is remove my content there.

What does that have to do with anything? Just because an article is in a directory does not mean it is a free for all for you to steal and copy.

Last, Get a life my friend.

Amazed at that statement. I'd like to see how you would feel if this happened to you.
