stats updating

hi
I've been promoting skyvegas now for a while, but for some reason I'm showing no signups/players since promoting with pretty good traffic which converts elsewhere.
I was just wondering if anyone knows how often the stats are updated? I don't even know if they are tracking my players as it doesn't show click thrus/impressions.

I have been promoting skyvegas for a couple of months, stats are updating daily as far as I can tell, my figures have changed from yesterday, just logged in.

I do agree that then stats page is rubbish, shows no stats at all other than players and what they have staked won, lost etc.

Yes it updates once a day and is working (mine changed today). The system is an in-house one and annoyingly basic. But they told me at LAC that they are looking at getting a new system in sometime in the next few months. I'd guess Income Access (as they were based on their stand at LAC!).

I promoted Sky Betting (mainly sports) for a few short months, but never trusted the tracking and reporting - mainly because there seemed to be no click tracking or any other stats available. Frankly, they've run an amateur hour affiliate program for at least a couple of years and my advice would be to push other properties.

Simmo is right - we are just a few weeks away from re-launching Affiliate Hub with Income Access. We have also recruited a new, dedicated affiliate management team, who will help the transition to the new system. In short, you can expect us to get a lot better, very soon. I'm glad to hear you're making improvements.
In the meantime I haven't received my pay-cheque this month - what's up with that?

They always used to come in the middle of the month, then the last 2 were in the 4th week of the month - now we're just into the 5th week of March... and I'm still waiting.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I have spoken with our finance team, and they have confirmed that all outstanding cheques will be posted out today. They send their apologies for the delay - caused by a number of factors beyond their control. Rest assured, the transaction tool in the new Income Access-powered Affiliate Hub will have joined the 21st Century! Posting-out cheques will be replaced by a range of e-payment options, so issues like this will be a thing of the past.

I also haven't received last months cheque.

Last year all cheques were received around the 15th of every month but since december cheques have been continually late, by at least a week or 2. It's now the 6th april and i was also assured my payment was sent out on the 30th march which clearly isn't the case.

If AH are experiencing problems i would just appreciate a bit of honesty and communication.

Thanks for the info Deanna, hopefully when you're in control the programme will be more reliable. Unfortunately it doesn't help my current situation.

For 3 weeks now i've been chasing my owed payment and i've had nothing but tall tales from the 'accounts department' at affiliate hub.

To make it worse now my emails aren't even being answered and i have no other way of contacting anyone at Affiliate hub, this really is a poor show.

I've been more than patient with AH but now I have a good mind to spend the day changing all my links over to Ladbrokes or Kerching, at least then I would get customer support if anything went wrong.

Apparently I joined 3/28/2010 (a year+ now) and I went through each month since then and see a handful of joins each month but never earned a nickle.

I doubt it tracks $$.

Another day and still no reply, I guess all 'customer service' are now enjoying the sunny weekend while I'm still worrying about paying my mortgage, this is the last time I put all my eggs in one basket with any affiliate company.

I made £7.99 with them last month, so it does track something. :cool:

It definitely works, i've had a good and steady income from them since the day they started, it's just a shame that they aren't customer focused when problem's arise.

no way that backend pulls data correctly. I usually just get a white screen and hit reload a few times and sometimes I get data. They were on my all time most popular page to. I figured I'd pick up a Canadian player or two in 12 months.

Deanna here again - I've forwarded this post to the current Affiliate Hub Affiliate Managers, as I'm sure they wouldn't intentionally ignore your payment queries. Again, apologies for the negative experiences you may have had up until this point, but hopefully we can turn those around as I get to know Sky's current (and future!) affiliates.

I'll check back here in a few days to see if there has been a response. Again, apologies from everyone at the Affiliate Hub team. Sky did listen to affiliate feedback and as a result made the move to software that should eliminate the issues that you're currently having :)

Just to update, i did receive payment by BACS, i was assured the cheque was sent but then lost in the post.

Not sure what's happening with the income access that was supposed to be starting last month, and we're now towards the end of this month and payment hasn't been received again. I would normally expect it mid-month, i really hope i don't have to start chasing again, if i do then i'm seriously going to consider changing to a more reliable affiliate programme.
