Good afternoon, Affiliate Guard Dog community.
I have been a member of this forum for many years, and unfortunately I am opening this thread to warn all affiliates about a very concerning situation involving the Sparta Affiliates program.
We began working with this affiliate in October, initially with a small test project, with the intention of moving forward to a larger CPA campaign based on influencer traffic, an area in which we operate as Media Buyers.
The payment for October was made without any issues, and the feedback regarding the quality of the traffic was positive.
In November, the Sparta Affiliates team themselves requested that we scale up the campaigns, which we did accordingly.
However, now that the time has come to process the €5,000 payment, the company is refusing to pay, alleging that the traffic was fraudulent. These claims were made without any concrete evidence, with the only justification being that the emails and player activity “seem strange,” yet no objective proof was provided.
It is important to note that throughout the collaboration we requested complete and detailed player reports, including activity, retention, and progression, and everything consistently appeared normal, with several players remaining active beyond the first deposit.
In the influencer market, it is true that a portion of traffic can occasionally raise doubts, which is understandable. However, to claim that all traffic is fraudulent, without any technical justification, appears to be an unjustified attempt to avoid paying the affiliate commissions owed.
Therefore, I would like to alert the community to exercise caution when working with this affiliate.
If the AGD team is able to offer any support or guidance regarding this case, we would greatly appreciate it.
