Be aware of Spanish speaking freelancers from Latin America, in my experience, they are skilled very poorly :-/

Big difference is that the good old USA has very ugly women and you dont! :D

I figured I should bring some value to the thread but dont know how to edit my post. Anyone who can help me?

Anyway, dont go for Fiverr, SEOclerks, Upwork or other platforms for linkbuilding. ALWAYS think quality over quantity when it comes to linkbuilding and especially for competitive nisches as online gambling.

I did some research a year back about the LATAM market and you can easily buy bulk links around 250 USD/link from agencies. Google is your friend :)

Be careful of agencies, as many of them try to look legit but just outsouce their work to sellers on microjob sites like Fiverr.

I dont understand Your work progress. I demand all agencies to send me a list of presumptive websites, I hand pick the websites, we published and thats it. I have never had any problems doing this and if I am getting bad backlinks its because of my bad filtering :)

Care to share in a PM?

Also, to edit a recent post, look to the bottom left of your post. The edit button would be located directly underneath your signature if you have one.

I edited this post to include a picture of the edit button :p

Using upwork for backlinks... sounds risky like Fiverr, though maybe slightly higher quality? Not worth the risk IMHO.

How its risky when we have our criteria accepting website for backlink? I think we check website's stat etc thoroughly that we require then select the sites right?

Because you just can't get a "good" link in gambling for USD5-10. If it was that easy everyone would be affiliates and millionares. But hey, nobody could be more happy than me if you are buying Fiverr links... Less competition ;)

I can't see the issue either. What you should look for it's for an agency, which can provide you a list and you can pick them up based on the trustflow, topic and so on.

Also, what I would do in your case, since it's a "new market", I would go to the top 3 competitors (on your top10 keywords), find out on Ahrefs/Majestic how their backlinks look like, and try to reach them.

Most of the time, you can always use the "contact" form or similar to get in touch with the webmaster of a marketing manager if it's a big site, such a Newspaper.

Exactly, you want work with links in bulk so you can find topics which are more or less suitable for certain under pages on your website. Then evaluate the quality of each link based on link metrics.

In our case, yes we promote in Colombia, but the market has some particularities:

- The sites regulated by Coljuegos (local gambling authorities) are not that much and are not that good
- In some cases, payments are only processed to Colombian banks or other local methods, meaning you will need a person in site
- The Colombian economy it's developing right now, the minimum salary here is something like $260 and the USD exchange rate is very high now, so don't expect high rollers.
- People are usually afraid of using e-wallets for anything, they prefer going to Western Union or something rather than using Skrill for example.
- I'm guessing is similar in all markets, but there are tons of freeroll hunters here. If a site offers no deposit bonus, expect lots of multi-accs.

wow, that was a very nice and quick summary of why Colombia is a tough market. Thanks man!
I guess all the Venezuelans coming in is not really giving you an extra casino boost either. Really sad situations :(

without going all VtunSPAMBOT really interesting and useful post that. going to be quite a few markets worth tapping into in future so good to get a local perspective at times, thanks

Indeed same situation for the Brazilian market where I have been working for the last 4 years. Indeed there are some difficulties but the market is rapidly growing as internet connectivity expands and users gradually start to loose fear of new tech possibilities and payment methods. But even with that in mind I have seen in this year's several europeans brands fail ugly for lack of cultural knowledge, particularly fulfilling users expectations in customer services.
Wonder what will happend in the future as regulation progress (there is an increase possibility of sportsbetting regulation being approved, gov needs money).
Brazil is also a particular case in latam not only for being the biggest economy, territory and population, but also because landbase casinos are not allowed.
