hey partners,
just a note that we are going to be a little late this month in regards to paying skrill & neteller. we have processed all wires and some skrill and neteller but a few remaining still. we had an issue (delay) topping up the e-wallets but expect the funds to arrive tomorrow or latest early next week.
sorry for the delay
have a nice weekend.

I don't promote your casino(s). Not too many programs notify affiliates about payment delays. So Kudos for doing this :)

Yeah - that is good.
But look back at their history and you'll see late payment after late payment... that ISN'T good... :(

Well, here is where the terms and conditions become important, KK. Technically, while their website propaganda state that payments will be processed within 20 days, their terms and conditions actually state that all payments will be wired within 45 days of receiving the invoice. Now, obviously because the announcement was made on the 20th, the intent of the program is to pay by the 20th. However, the terms state they have 45 days. Some might say that this is for their own protection but they have never intended to use this term or something to that extent? I hope you can see based on this that terms and conditions are in fact important.

Using terms like 'propaganda' just throw a negative connotation on things. I would really like things to be a lot more positive here. Yeah, I know there are a lot of things to 'bitch' about... but if you go around bitching all day, then you will never get anything accomplished. Essentially, it isn't productive.

NOW - with that said, terms say 45 days because of wire payments. You can say 'paid by the 20th' when you have to deal with wires. Web pages DO tend to be marketing tools and, as such, tend to promote the best, most positive option. Have a look at Credit Card companies - they don't promote "we can give you a 25% APR!". They promote a 14% APR. Terms and conditions tend to state things like "interest rate varies upon your credit worthiness".

It is really the same here. And there is nothing nefarious about that - it is common across most industries.

Which leads me to my final statement: You are 100% correct - terms are important

I was not complaining. I was defending the program based on their terms and stating KK was wrong to assume Ellmount are habitual late payers by trusting the affiliate facing marketing material (aka propaganda) over the program terms.

I'm all for being positive too, but... if something is wrong (like an assumption) or it's misleading (aka propaganda), then it's wrong.

Sorry Shay - the post came off as completely negative. I must have somehow misunderstood it.

Dave - you can't seem to understand how positive posts and how working WITH someone will lead to a better outcome. You always have an excuse as to why you think you are doing "the right thing", but you can't see the forest for the trees lately.

Andy - When I'm dealing with affiliate programs & or AM's who don't try to pull the wool over my eyes, or feed me horse$shit, then I'm an easy-going, friendly, positive guy. But, I'm no one's sucker.

Point in question, has VS reinstated the "deposit stats" yet? No!

This is what happens when you treat misbehaving aff programs with kid gloves. They continue to renege on their promises.

AKA treat people like stooges/suckers...

If VS had a single ounce of respect for their partners (without them they'd have very few casino players), they'd stop making excuses and, reinstate the stats post haste. However, affiliates have been feed yet another line (errr stall tactic) once again, to delay the reinstated deposit stats.

Sometimes in this business, one has to be a hard-ass to get things done. If that's divergent to your philosophy, then maybe you need to walk in our shoes for a while, so you can appreciate the hardships we endure from programs who renege on their promises.

I recall a few years back you got bent out of shape over being owed $300 or so... I don't recall you being too diplomatic then. So imagine what it's like for full time affiliates who are shaved for literally $1,000's each month...

Telling me I don't see the forrest for the trees, when you have a paid day job, and I'm an affiliate full time, is condescending at best.

And, as far as VS. As I've mentioned... It is taking time. I don't know WHY it takes this long, but it is taking them some time. I'll put more pressure on them. But - putting out fighting words, bashing, calling names - well, that's not taking a 'hard line' - that is just being un-professional.

Hey guys,

Skrill = sorted as well now.

Sry for delay this time around, we are now all set.

Thank you for giving the affiliate community notice on the delay and for following through and letting everyone know when it was sorted. I very much appreciate your effort to communicate and am certain your affiliate partners appreciate it as well.

Cheers,

Shay
