Hello Good and busy people :)
Can you please advise some best and low cost SEO tools (similar to SEMRush) that you guys use on daily basis for startup affiliate website.
I understand it might be quite old or repetitive question and would like to know latest updates on this.
Appreciated.

Many Thanks

Hi Matt,

not sure on your budget when you say low cost but in my opinion Ahrefs in the best around. It's worth it's weight in gold to me and is used many times a day, everyday for whole manner of things.

I think there is a free trial available also, but the updates. Blog posts and videos are also extremely useful. In the long run it saves a lot of time and much more money than it's cost.

Thank you Batman for your quick reply.
I noticed ahref/semrush/moz etc. are priced for minimum $99 . As a stranger to all the tools, i need help with pros and cons of the tool (or most useful for newbie affiliate) from experienced guys like you if i can not get good one less than the above price.
Thanks again!

I would have to pick just one tool, I would go for Ahrefs. It gives best bang for the buck. You can do KW research, analyze competitors, set up rank tracker and use the alerts -function.

If you are tight in with money, you could get one of those VPS services where you get all the seo tools with lower cost. Only downside is, that those tools are shared and might ran out of credits.
If you want to go down this route, just search BHW forums and you'll find plenty of vendors that are offering these services.

It's worth trying to get a free trial, the information you will be able to gather will give you plenty to get on with, and as I said originally will save time, money and make sure you're off to a good start.

There are a lot of tools out there to be honest, both free and paid. My view is that if you want to have features that will help you scale your project you have to pay for them. I am using Ahrefs and Moz. I believe the best way to go about picking tools is to use more than one, as each tool has different pros, cons and exclusive features that the others don't. For example, Ahrefs has the most precise keyword research tool in my opinion, while moz has exclusive features like the spam score of a website that helps you detect potential issues that might arise if you get a link from such a website.

Bottom line, check different options and don't rely on just one tool!

I use SEranking for tracking my keyword positions. The tool is very precise and easy to use. As an example with the keyword "hybrid online casino" - my site currently is on the 1-st position on Google. But Seranking shows that I'm on the 4-th (which was this morning). On 14 days free trial you can check up to 250 keywords twice a day.

Try to ask some friends for a group buy. I personally recommend Ahrefs as a one-stop tool..
