RTG conversions down?

Hi all,

Has anyone else noticed a steep drop in RTG conversions over the past month or so?

With one group, I've sent over 1,000 visitors this month, but I only see one new depositor there. That's terrible.

At another RTG casino (in a different group), I sent over 800 clicks -- but not one of those converted to a depositing player.

I am seeing "okay" results at a few casinos, but overall, I'm very disappointed with how things have been going lately with the RTG properties on my sites.

RTG programs -- please step it up! This is prime time -- we should be seeing better results (not worse) during this time of year. :emoticon-0165-muscl

Same thing here. We have really bad results with RTG casinos in the past 3 months.
With one of the most reputable groups we have 35 sign ups and only 1 depositor in the period 1st of August- 24th October.

I was doing OK till this weekend.

This weekend has, so far, been a disaster.

Even with my traffic numbers way up... Not a single depositer this weekend.

FYI

my results this month :

CWC 1100 clicks 6 depositors do not know if they are new
Mainstreet 700+clicks zero depositors $0
C planet 500 clicks 1 new depositor

I think it is the old story again processors, verification processes players do not like and ofcourse tons of websites will lead to high saturation.................

CWC 350 clicks, 79 new sign ups, 1 depositor.
compared to other programs click-signup is good, but signup-deposit is very poor!
I think without their no deposit bonuses there wouldn't be even sign-ups...
My players - how it seems - just don't like RTG.

Other program(software) with smaller no deposit bonus: 290 clicks, 112 sign-ups, 11 new depositors - that's how it is supposed to look like!

RTG Conversions down

Hi there

Besides RTG, what is your average clickthru to deposit rate?

I know that we have been achieving a depositor for every 35 - 40 clicks?

Anyone else?

We are struggling too, zero growth over the past 2 years. If not for a handful of programs I would have probably gotten out of this business and looked for a new niche online.

6 Digits, those are great numbers. I think if we could all have ratio's like that we would be happy campers and there wouldn't be threads like this one...

I made 180 or so with CWC the first few months I was with them ... since then I have seen ZILCH. Thus conversion AND retention are both really poor!

1000 visitors and only 1 deposit - I'd be fuming. Where are you getting that traffic?

Same thing here with my RTGs

Started the month really well - some of my new sites are now getting traffic with half-decent keywords and things were looking up.

But, despite continued good progress with traffic and the keywords they are coming through on, the number of real money players suddenly dropped.

One program has suddenly dropped from 7 real money players generated from the first 900 clicks of the month down to 2 over the latest 2400 clicks

Downloads and registration rates remain the same as ever, just the real money player conversions are down...

I picked up a new player today at affactive after none in sept and none the first 3 weeks of this month. I was getting a 15-20% conversion rate for a few months there.

perhaps RTG allows us to keep a few players to keep us pushing their brand :)

I've had good rankings on a number of keywords and phrases for years ... despite great rankings traffic has slowed and not just a bit, but in a big way ... I dont understand people posting they are sending 1000s of hits here and 1000s there ...

If thats actually true, I'm started thinking someone is hijacking my google traffic some how... either that or everyone else has a great PPC hook up.

Interesting posts. With so many people having poor results lately, I have to wonder if RTG is shaving, or if there is some sort of data-parsing problem that hasn't been addressed by the affiliate programs that receive data from RTG.

A few months ago, RTG changed the structure of at least one of their data tables, which caused a problem at C-Planet (giggles7p/Pat and bb1webs had a thread about this). C-Planet fixed the way they parse the data they receive from RTG, but I have to wonder -- did this table structure change affect any other affiliate programs (i.e. Affactive or CWC/Affiliate Edge)?

The alternative explanation is that there are severe processing issues. Just today I saw a post at Casinomeister about how Sloto'Cash isn't accepting any credit cards at all at the moment. I know Sloto'Cash isn't an RTG casino, but if this is happening to them, it could be happening to others as well.

RTG affiliate managers, feel free to chime in! ;)

I think we all know that conversion rates depend on keywords and marketing. Some kw's are great, some not so great and some just plain suck... ;)

Then there is the marketing... who is your demographic? Are you giving them what they want? etc etc...

I can't show my numbers:eek: I am afraid of "number envy" from some of the less endowed... :emoticon-0142-happy (JJ)

I asked affactive if they're receiving the data ok (that was on oct 14th) and they said yes. There was another problem with progressive tickers not crediting signups a while back and I mentioned it to Martyn. I can dig out that date if anyone wants it.

Just to add, I'm seeing the same trend for my Rival and Vegas Tech casinos too - over the first 7-10 days of the month my conversions were fine, but now, especially over the last week, I'm really struggling to get any real money conversions at all. Just the odd one or two....

This is all for US traffic, by the way.

Conversions of UK and Canadian traffic remains fine for me

the same situation. USA traffic suddenly became low converting :(

summer was much better for me considering improving in rankings (in summer I had 20% in visitors, now it is ok, but....). Hope for now

No problem here. We have picked up a couple of players at inetbet, mainstreet, pure commission, and bodog (all at less than 40:1), and lots at CWC and c-planet at worse conversion rates but much higher volume.

But if people are seeing across the board conversion issues with all US facing properties (we aren't), then maybe its the result of UIGEA blocking.

Hi,

this is correct, about rival not taking credit cards, I normally deposit with my Visa at sloto and box24, and I have been declined on all deposit attempts.
in the cashier at superior casino there isn't even a credit card option, and I have also tried slotastic, grande vegas, inetbet, and bet phoenix and I couldn't make a deposit at any RTG Casino last week, again something is wrong and no one is talking
