Hi,

I need to bring to the attention of everyone, a Rogue media buying company.

I believe strongly in working out problems privately, but after failed delivery dates, lack of serious communication, and 4 months later... I do need to make this public.

The company is called Top Deck Media, located in the UK (I have the address) represented by Glen Lee.

I paid Glen Lee, and his company $850 USD for a test campaign for traffic in August last year.

Since early Septemeber, on confirmation (by Glen Lee) of receiving the wire, we have received no traffic.

My last communication to Glen Lee was on the 17th of Nov, with no responce.

That stinks Rakesh. I have never had any experience with any media buying companies, would you typically ask for references before you send off payment?

Also, from an affiliate standpoint where do media buying companies come into play with an affiliate? Meaning do most successful affiliates dabble with media buying companies? I just have never really thought about a media buying company and your post got me thinking how they come into play from the affiliate side of the coin.

Btw, happy new years man.

Happy New Year man! Hope you had a killer year last year. Knowing you, you'd just be going from strength to strength.

Usually I would ask for references, but this guy had been hounding me solidly for 2-3 years, and being around that long.. and persistant, I took as being legit.

I know of a couple of affiliates who buy traffic for their sites, or for the deals they have with affiliate programs. It was definitley more lucrative where google adwords was around. But it really comes down to a numbers game, and how well you know the traffic you are purchasing.

If you are spending $1000, and getting a return of $2000 over 2 months. You'd probably do that every month!

Thanks for the warning, but with his bank information you should call his bank and alert them he is a scammer.

Hi all, just to let you know that I was done for £4,000 by this punk some time back while working for Betfred.

The money is wired straight into his girlfriends account as I remember which kind of removes him from the equation....so he will probably think.

definately do not deal with this guy, he is a schmuck.

I believe, that is if he is still at the same address (I cant remember) its his girlfriends house.

Glen lee - scammer

I wish I found this thread a month ago, before I deposited $400 into this guys account, he seemed legit etc, but after taking 4 weeks to set up an MSN ppc, i knew something was sketchy. After giving me excuses and the run around on email.

Turns out he also gave me his girlfriends account details, and has now removed me from his Facebook account, as I kept telling his new friends that he is a scammer.

On Facebook - his profile pic is a set of Aces!

At least 8 other independant people who do not know each other have confirmed the same thing about this guy. He's been doing it for ages apparently... let's stop him!

PS: He also goes under the name James
topdrawermedia@ntlworld.com and glenlee@ntlworld.com are his email addresses

Thanks for posting this Rak.

This guy requested me to add him on my facebook. At first I did, beings we had like 16 friends in common. He messaged me on Facebook, then on MSN. He came on MSN using the name Ryan but said he was Glen from facebook. After talking to him for about 5 minutes, I said.. "So what is your name, Ryan or Glen?" He then said that I must have him confused with someone else.

I was totally lost for a minute. Then I scrolled up to read the beginning of our chat and seen where this guy Ryan that I was talking to said he was Glen from Facebook. I showed him that and then he asked if someone else was in our conversation. Of course there wasn't. Then he got quiet. Then said he was gonna log-off and back on in case someone was in our conversation. He was gone for awhile, then finally logged back in and gave me some story about either the Ryan name or Glen name being someone he works with. Funny how he first said I must have him confused with someone else.

At that point, I realized he was a complete clown and told him that I don't deal with liars, and removed him from my Facebook.

mtaylor

I actually can't find Glen Lee on Facebook anymore - must have found this thread.

Here is who the payment was made to (notice the name mtaylor - he had a Michelle Taylor listed in his group friends) :

Bank name : Natwest Bank
Bank Address : 2 Howe Walk, Uk.
Account Name : Mtaylor
Account Number : 16142586
Sort Code : 01-01-35
IBAN : GB38 NWBK 0101 3516 1425 86
BIC : NWBK GB 2L

Glen Lee had pictures of him up on Facebook, he players football / soccer. Goal Keeper. From memory he was about 22-26yrs old. He is on the tubby - or as I like to say, festively plump side (bit like me).

Since I have the wire details listed, and also have a date on when then wire arrived, I'll give the Bank a call and see if hey will do anything, or at least contact the police to get in touch with mtaylor.

glen lee and michelle taylor SCAMMERS

Hi everyone

lionslots >> he is still on there and Michelle Taylor - his girlfriend who's account he uses for the deposits. They have just blocked us. I have confirmation from other friends of his, that he is still active on facebook.

I have contacted the police regarding MTaylor and GLee, with their address. Lawyers letters will be emailed to Glen Lee from our attorneys. This is downright theft and will not be tolerated.

I hope he does find this thread so that he realises the seriousness of what has been done.

Thanks to everyone who has posted and to those getting the word out.

this guy is a joke. I know that he also threatened the guy that broke his cover, who also lives near him.

The only reason this guy keeps coming back is because he is getting away with it. More people need to know then we call in the exterminators.

Since his 'apology' to me about the £4k lost/stolen a few years back, and his really generous offer of a free list from another casino , and h im begging to update threads such as this one saying it wasnt him and it was his partner, he's really a good guy bollocks.

Not a chance sunbeam.

Following his multiple daily begs he is now banned on my MSN so I have no further contact with him, nor do I want any further with him.

His family must be so proud.

I know this thread was started a while ago, but I just wanted to say this guy's still out there. He's been contacting me for ages on MSN, using the name of Ryan from Realplayers4u. We did discuss a couple of possible deals but luckily (for us) the numbers didn't add up.

After coming across this I have now deleted him - so many thanks for the warning.

Kim
