I noticed several of Rewards casino sites don't show in the SERPs anymore, even when you search directly by name - eg "Casino Action", "Captain Cooks Casino", "Villento Casino" etc. They are completely gone. It looks like a stiff Google penalty to me.

That is bizarre. thanks for sharing. I had something odd happening to certain pages of mine recently [MIA]... just looked and back to normal. Maybe G is getting ready to shake things up again.. if so ... hold on to your hats ! ! !

I don't think that is has to do with a general update, they used some unethical methods (not only with their SEO) to achieve those unreal rankings, easy to see though.

This was caused by an update and we are working with Google to get it fixed.

Nothing underhanded has gone on here. As Bernie mentioned, the same thing happened to his sites.
Thanks.

Sorry why do I need to provide proof?

I don't work in the SEO department so I don't have any more information than what I have posted.

No problems, whatever you like to share is cool but what i mean is
any proof to show you are working with google on solving this, as you stated. (in case you misunderstood me)
just curious how you can get in touch with google, if update troubles.

The SEO department did a real good job by switching to the onmousedown code and using certain keywords in the title tag.
I would imagine collectively affiliates provided a lot of the rankings boost (through backlinks) using the code as is.

There has been no general google update in the last 72 hours.
This has ALL the earmarks of a hand penalization by google.

"Working with google" could mean all they have done is submitted a request for a review for re-inclusion into the index...

Sorry Renee, not pounding on you... but rewards management is lacking more than a few brain cells.

Maybe Renee needs to show that really (we are doing the right thing) award plaque to the Big G... that should help a lot. Looks like the SEO team pushed it a little too far with the tricks. Will be interesting to see how long it takes them to sort it out. Makes sense to use guys like us as buffer yer?

Rather than using this time to speculate on AGD, you guys should use this opportunity to get your own sites up until our sites come back online.

Wouldn't that be a better way to "get back at" us?

I am sorry Renee that was a bit rude.. I like you and stuff but your post always seem so hostile towards affiliates I just don't understand why we are being treated like the assholes here? We are the ones that were scammed out of countless amounts of money due to cross marketing strategies admittedly used by CR so why are we being treated like we did something wrong? Just a bit confused here that's all. I personally am not about to jump out there and help market a company that has over 30 brands and I cannot make over 1k a month...lol My family needs to be fed plain and simple.

Hey Bonustreak
Thanks for your opinions about them.
I don't think Renee is being rude just real stupid in helping keep this thread at the top, funny how only the affs promoting them are getting the traffic from search's on G for several of the CR brands that G have wacked, maybe these affs can do a cross marketing sell on them for a change ! I have never promoted them & after these PR disaster comments never will. Something just dodgy ('not to be trusted') about these guys. Tip of the iceberg about how they conduct themselves.... although you get a nice shiny plaque for doing business this way

Did you try to search like this:
site:yourdomain.com

If no results are found that means your website is deindexed. If some results appear that means you got penalty.

I also don't think Renee means to come off as rude but some of the post are snippy and someone needs to point that out. I think Renee loves her company and is very defensive which is understandable but now is the time to put the past aside and get affiliates back on their team, this will take more then the post that are being made right now. I personally would like Rewards to try and be a bit humble towards the affiliates, give us a reason to up marketing for them again.

If I were Rewards... I would be far more worried about the SCAM Warnings that some of the anti-virus vendors are currently putting up about rewards casinos software.

Might even explain why Google dropped some of their casino domains so fast...

kama baby! :D
but rewards management is lacking more than a few brain cells.

With comments like these I can understand why it would be easy to think that I'm trying to be rude or hostile, but that is not the case. I was hoping you guys would read between the lines of my post, but I will make myself clearer.

I didn't say you had to promote our brands. What I was getting at, was why don't you use this time to rank your own sites there and get all the traffic we are missing out on. I.e. make money with your site from our "misfortune". IMO that would be more productive (and make affs more money) than talking about why the sites are not there.

I hope thats a little clearer.

Hit me up on email/chat/phone etc and give me a list.
