I've done some limited testing and it is quite clear that CasinoVal is siphoning off a good portion of our traffic to their own tag :( There is at least 1 way this is being done and until this is fixed, they will not be in the certified category:

Method of Siphoning our players:

The Facebook peel at the top right of the CasinoVal website pushes the user towards promotions on their Facebook page. The user then clicks on a promotion and is un-tagged from the affiliate and re-tagged to CasinoVal.

Testing:

I have tested this so far with 2 players. Neither players are mapped to my account :( 1 Registered and did not deposit, the other registered and did deposit. Both had never been to the CasinoVal website previously and cookies were removed.

I still have some testing to do, but there are also emails with Facebook links as well :( Not sure how this could affect tagged players, but would love to know.

Sounds bad for the countless spammers that sent me invitations for this casino lately.

We promoted them and since they have that Facebook promo on their page, our number of registred players is very low comparing it to any other program we promote. Thank you for testing Andy

In fact, we have posted about that promo 4 times on my forum, in english, german and dutch.
1st time it was posted begin january, and then again on 21 Feb. I just checked, and I have about 650 views on these posts.
I just checked my player reports again, I made for this year 13 new registred players!? I know a bit of my traffic, and any other casino I post a 50ND Bonus I sure have 100 registations in a few days, also don't forget that CasinoVal is pretty new.

Hi there,

Apologies for the delayed response to this thread, but I can confirm that we are looking into this issue with the utmost urgency. It has never been our intention to allow affiliates to "lose" traffic, and we will do all we can to ensure tracking integrity.

I will feedback as soon as possible.

Regards,
Lawrence.

Hi all,

Following Guard Dog's initial posting (as well a similar conversation with Bonus Paradise), extensive internal investigations were conducted over the weekend regarding the linking on Casinoval's Facebook page.

It turns out that there were, in fact, a couple of links containing conflicting tags that would have affected affiliate-driven traffic. I would like to reiterate that the vast minority of links to Casinoval on the Facebook page were tagged this way so, although it was possible to "lose" affiliate-driven traffic, the statistics show that only a small number of players were registered via this tag. These tags have now been removed, and I have personally tested the procedure myself, and can confirm that affiliate tags will not be affected by potential players moving to and from the Casinoval Facebook page.

I assure you that this was the result of an uninentional tracking exercise, as it was thought that the Facebook-specific tag would work in conjunction with the affiliate tag. Everything has been rectified now, and I can say with confidence that affiliate tags will function as they should.

Regards,
Lawrence Wilson

I can verify that the Facebook issue is completely fixed on their end. I can also verify that players do track properly now both on Facebook and the website.

Thanks to Lawrence for following this all the way through!

On a personal note, I really do appreciate the input I get from affiliates regarding the program. I find that it's the best way to ensure that the offering is as good as it can be.

Does not surprise me since they also take very popular land based slots, make them over a bit and call it theirs. This is why I didn't promote them and will not promote them. I am even more convinced this is a fly by night place with what Andy is finding out about the tracking!!
Why trash this program in the first place without any proof of bad intentions?

You protect programs that obviously are shady (libertyslots) then come and trash a program without any proof at all...
