NCI Bonuses are deducted from commissions?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Friends, can you please read this chat I had with Tarryn from Referback about my stats,

Tarryn Ward : ok...between player wins and non-cash incentives, your
account is at 0

Tarryn Ward : ok...you had a player who made a deposit on 8 jan 2010
Tarryn Ward : then a NEW player came along yesterday and took up the 30 free spins on
GamingClub (which is NCI)
Tarryn Ward : therefore your commision is now 0
Tarryn Ward : once he/she makes a deposit, then you will start to earn commission
Tarryn Ward : does that make sense?
Rhonda Lovering: what is NCI
Tarryn Ward : non-cash incentives
Tarryn Ward : so in other words it the bonus (30 free spins) received
Rhonda Lovering: so you deduct the spins from my commission?
Tarryn Ward : yes, bonuses get deducted from your commission
Tarryn Ward : no - we gave the player $35 (30 free spins) and he lost the money
Tarryn Ward : no profit was made

Tarryn Ward : no funny business going on... its always worked this wayy

Hi Tarryn,

I need clarification on what you said yesterday..... if a player makes a deposit and loses,
my account is credited with commission from there deposits.
now, another new player signs up and takes your ND 25 from another brand do you deduct my commission from this 2ND player
as you said NCI are deducted from commissions I just want this confirmed that you deduct NCI from earned commissions

Rhonda Lovering: Thank you
Rhonda Lovering: Hi
Tarryn Ward : Commission is calculated on: Net win - (NonCash+Progressive Contributions)

Rhonda Lovering: commissions being deducted from NCI is insane
Rhonda Lovering: and not fair
Rhonda Lovering: is this in your T&C's
Tarryn Ward : Hi Rhonda, I don't understand what is not clear...That is how we calculate
your commission.
Tarryn Ward : It's in our T & C's and in our commission schedule as well
Tarryn Ward : that is how we do business and you'll probably find that most other operators operate in the same way
Tarryn Ward : Once again we calculate commission as follows:
Tarryn Ward : your players net win - (no cash + progressive contributions)

If the player only took bonus money, and if he has lost (spent) the entire $35, your earnings for that player should be $0. Is that what you see?

When he has first received the bonus, you would see a negative balance for that player -- it should be 25% of -$35 (if you're earning 25% commissions).

25% of -$35 = -$8.75. Is that what you saw? Once he spends the bonus money back to the casino (all $35), the -$8.75 should go to $0. (If it doesn't, please let us know.)

Hi, it's not showing either neg or positive. there was an active player, and commission listed on Sunday the 10th when I checked my stats, then I checked on the 12th and the deposits and commission were removed from my account.

Hmm, okay, so --

There were 2 players.

Player #1 deposited money, which showed up in your account. Then this player was flagged for fraud (for whatever reason), his account was closed, and the commissions disappeared. This makes sense... It sucks, but I think the explanation makes sense.

Player #2 accepted free money from the casino, and he hasn't yet deposited any money of his own. For this player, your commissions will show $0 once he has spent all of the bonus money.

With bonus money, you share the cost of the bonus. The program doesn't deduct the entire bonus from your account -- they only deduct 25% (or whatever you commission rate is).

Initially, the minute they give the bonus to the player, you should see a negative balance equal to 25% of the amount they gave the player. For example, if the casino gave someone $100 in bonus money, you should see -$25 in your stats. When the player has finished spending the bonus money, the -$25 will go to $0. Then if he deposits $100 of his own and loses that, you will earn +$25.

Does this make any more sense? I don't think RB is doing anything fishy here, but the way they explained it could have been a little more clear....
