The reputation of Referback was quite good and I earned OK for quite some time there. Wagershare has always been rogue against affiliates. If you combine white and black we'll get grey. In other words, will the merge mean that your future earnings get shaved like it's normal with Wagershare? Or will this merge be the moral miracle, the moral principle changer of Wagershare practice?

Since the news of the merge my earnings dropped heavy. Although this might be due the summer in Europe to some extent, but it's just too much. I've been in this business for 7 years. Anybody has a different experience?

I was told in Amsterdam about this.. They are going to create a totally new brand from what I understand and Wagershare will not longer exist ... The new brand will take on Referback terms from what I was told..
Thanks for your answer, but terms and practice are 2 different things. Do you have any recent experiences with Referback concerning earnings?

what? when did they announce they would merge?? Details please
I heard it at the end of March. Not through a standard mailing to affiliates btw, but in a personal message from an affiliate manager there. Can you share info about the quality of your earnings in April /May /June with referback?

If Wagershare does take control I'll be in the market for a few new Microgaming Casinos for my sites.

If WagerShare take over Referback, then I'd expect them to pay me whatever money they owe me and to drop this ridiculous inactivity rule, or I will simply remove all Referback links from my sites.

Yep, I would be wary about any merger with these guys. They obviously know their reputation sucks and will spin the story to make them look more appealing.

As I'm still promoting Jackpot City I would definitely appreciate a serious statement about the merge. These questions are interesting maybe. I already asked Andrew of Referback the same more or less (thanks for the quick replies), but I would like to hear something from the new company management. The administrator of this site is probably interested in that as well, cause he has sent the affiliate managers a reminder about this thread. I think the whole industry, at least from an affiliate point of view where Referback still is a serious partner, is waiting for that.

1. Wagershare is just known as rogue among the majority of affiliates. Why should affiliates trust the new affiliate program which will be influenced by Wagershare management?

2. How will the migration of our players database be secured?

3. In terms of guarantees, is it possible to negotiate a minimum earnings guarantee for the first year under new management? If certain advertising positions are secured and it creates the same traffic as measure point X, the affiliate should receive a minimum amount. If revshare doesn't deliver more, at least the affiliate will get the minimum amount.

4. Did Wagershare purchase Referback or is it a true merge? In other words, will the owners of Wagershare be the new owners of Referback?

Hello,
I am new here and I have signed up at Referback since March 2014. Since then I had players generated who were playing regurarly.

1. ) The reports on their Homepage seem to work but I did never receive any payment.
2. ) When I had a question ( billing related and technical questions ) I did never receive any answer. Wheter the account-manager nor the support answered.
3. ) A lot of links on their page do not work ( e.g.: blog, news )

Did anyone make similar experiences or does anybody know possible reasons ? ...merge with wagershare, in general a bad service-level or else?

Depending on who you believe or more importantly, if you've bother to conduct your own research, it seems Referback and Wagershare (Spin Palace Group) have always been owned by the same entity. Hence it would be a merger not a sale. Same what's taken place with Red Flush casinos and Jackpot Factory Group - more places owned by the same entity.

Though, with Wagershare rearing its head in this, given its rogue status, I sincerely hold fear for my furture earnings. I did ok with Referback but will all this evaporate soon? Given Wagershare's past record, it's on the cards

They always pay on time each month so perhaps you didn't earn enough to receive payment? Or there is another reason you never got it? I always get a reply to emails too, my AM is andrew @referback.com

I didn't know that, thanks for that insight. So 1 company owned two affiliate programs. With 1 group they implemented a rogue style and in the other one a pretty decent style. These two cultures will come together, so we should be looking for new partners / microgaming casinos. What's your conclusion Bet4You? Get rid of all the Referback exposure right now, give them less exposure or do nothing and see what the future brings.

I'm hoping to work with the whole group to help them have a solid/good set of T&C's that are friendly to us all. Whether that will work or not remains to be seen, but I prefer to be positive where I can :)

They can set nice T&C's and I hope they do, but if they neglect them in practice we don't have anything. You said in another thread that you think Wagershare will be using the good name of Referback. For what is obvious. Shaving heavy, heavier and heaviest from affiliate earnings. Probably they will be building it up slowly and steal everything in a year or two. How do you think good T&C's can insure our earnings with them?

I'm a positive person too, but for them to stay on my sites they should really come with some good insurance about the future.

Personally, I'm not kicking Referback to the curb yet. Though I will be monitoring stats closely. Having to take this stance after years of a hassle free partnership, is sad. However after how Wagershare treated affiliates, if I don't look after my interests, no one else will.

If this turns out to be true, I think we will be pulling some properties from our sites.
