I received this warning from Nir in an email...

"Please contact me ASAP, and lets push it hard, if I don’t get 5 players from you in a month I will have to move you to 20% revshare, company policy."

This was after he offered 70% for Euro Grand, plus bonuses per so many players, etc.

I have heard SO many bad things about Casino Pays (CPays) and this shows exactly how they feel about affiliates. I believe if anyone is pushing CPays properties, they should stop soon. I know it is difficult if you have a decent paycheck from them, but from the sounds of it - they will eventually ciphon off your players anyway.

Good post LagunaCat and thanks for sharing!

I used to promote Cpays for more than 2 years on our sites. We have driven hundreds of players to them (300+ for sure). A couple of months back we started having bonus abusers coming through our affiliate account resulting in a negative balance. Instead of verifying the players and banning them as bonus abusers, Cpays resorted to shutting down our affiliate account. Well, after reading numerous complaints about Cpays I wasn't surprised it happened to me, however silly their cause was (closing an account which had 4 bonus abusers out of 300 valid players is kinda harsh). I emailed Cpays immediately but got no response. So I posted about this issue on CAP http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/get-burnt-the-hard-way.17102.html? and the next day my phone started ringing from 7am. Yoni, cpays manager, called me up to say that my account was not closed but 'suspended' (even though in the email it clearly said 'closed') and that they are investigating this account. After having a 20 min chat, he slowly got to asking me not to post bad things about Cpays...hmm...so i waited.

Result - 3 weeks have passed and i have never been contacted by yoni, or adi, or anyone else since.

my 2 cents - Cpays is a sleazy affiliate program that only 'likes' you if you bring traffic.

p.s. some aff. managers have poor english knowledge resulting in annoying 'misunderstandings'.

TOO BAD I DID NOT SEE THIS, I would have gladly embarrassed Yoni at another conference because he sure was
in London... Now they have their new name
so get to screw over a whole new generation of affiliates.

No Pay USA

I have been trying to get payed from cpays for months.
They say they can only pay to a non-us based bank account, and no other options.
I wonder how many affiliates are prevented from getting theier earnings?

I wonder this myself. I wish we had better contacts with them so that we could help more :(

Oren is the one you would have to talk to, I believe. I can certainly scrape up his email if need be.

I agree. It's completely ridiculous. I find programs that do not find a payment solution to be dishonest and unreputable. Any program 'worth it's weight' will find a way to pay ALL affiliates.

Try Yoni.. He got me paid after I harrassed
him at a conference. I would not recommended
promoting CPAYS, EVER! They screwed me over nicely.

Mansion has done the same scamming little thing. They stopped excepting Americans and American affiliates can only cash out if you have a foreign bank account! However they except transfers to matchbook normally however there not allowing this to cash out. HMMMMMM.

mansion.com scams also

Thanks for the info Legend! You might want to post that somewhere besides the CPays forum :) But it is valuable information nonetheless.

re

Well nonoe of these posts surprize me at all. I got fooled into promoting C-pays as well and it was a disaster to say the least. I had no end of problems with Adir.

This guy was too much, changing my ability to read stats fully, then having the ignorance to ask mee for my password a number of times to "look into the problem". It amazes me that Cpays employ's such incredible idiots and then thinks it will not harm thier reputation.

Nowe they are pushing the William Hill deal with the utter disbelief that we affiliates will think that anything has changed. Nothing ever will with that lot. They are just plain bad operators and should be avoided by everyone and even so far as to warn any players to not play with any of thier casino's.

Yoni turned out to be a real disappointment as well when at one point he wasn't all that bad but with William Hill and BlackPool and of course Cpays he and the entire team there have and are a disgrace to all those who work hard in the industry.

Avoid them at all costs. You'll thank me for it later.

I never actually believed that this is a predatory program until one of my friends got scammed. Apparently if you stop promoting them they no longer feel the need to pay your remaining earnings..

The post you quoted is from January 2007!
That's coming up to NINE YEARS old.

I don't think that member is active any more, CPays don't exist any more, there is no such thing as a "license" between an affiliate and a program.

As Jopaa said: PLEASE stop bumping very old threads with irrelevant questions.
