Q: Experiences with affiliate Hub lately?

I'm thinking of promoting Skyvegas Casino but have read that people had some bad experience with them in the past.

How has things been the last couple of months?

Has anyone experienced this:
8.11 At any time, for any reason, we have the right to convert your commission structure from Net Revenue Share to per player Customer Acquisition Fee and vice versa, as we see fit. We may withdraw a Net Revenue Share option at any time by giving notice to you. You may request to change your Fee option no more than once every calendar month, which may be accepted or rejected by us in our absolute discretion.

One last thing, can you recommend Sky for traffic outside UK (given their "If you live outside the UK you may need your passport to complete registration").

Things change and sites lose serps (the Panda undate is a good example). You could be making a pretty penny with this group then one day your sites lose rankings and your not sending through the volumes you once were.

What's stopping them pulling this FU clause? Nothing!

Personally with aff T&C's like that one I'd find myself someone else to promote.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

The only reason for me wanting to promote them are the mobile games they have.. but more casinos are becoming mobile and when Netent goes live with mobile soon we are hopefully going to have even more casinos to choose from.

Anyone else that had any experience with affiliate hub lately?

The only issue I have had with them is their payments are a bit "flakey", i.e. they often forget to pay me!
I'm currently still waiting for July and August - though July was only £20.

I just had a look at your Affiliate Hub account, and see that you have an outstanding balance that is actually below the minimum payment threshold for the payment method you have selected, which is why you haven not yet received payment.

If you want to email me (affiliatehub @ bskyb.com) I can let you know of other payment method options that will guarantee payment in October (based on the thresholds associated with those methods) if you would like to make the switch :)

8.3 The minimum payment thresholds to affiliates vary dependent on the payment method; for wire transfers, the minimum is £700, UK Same Day Transfer is £100, cheque is £50, Moneybookers is £20 and Neteller is £20.

OK - looks like I have accidentally set my preference to Bank Wire. So I better change that then!

Can I ask though, what exactly is "UK Same Day Transfer"? :confused:

Excellent, glad you were able to pinpoint the terms, and apologies if it was unclear to you previously.

To clarify, UK Same Day Transfer is BACS - definitely the option I would suggest seeing as you're UK-based.

Please log into your account and update your details before the end of the month so that your payment can be made via your new chosen method :)
