I would like to see a list of programs that do not work with hackers so I can give them exposure.. Except I don't want those that cross market without tagging to the affiliate.

Casino Program and Countries they accept.

affiliatecruise.com
toplayaffiliates.com
commission365.com

Please add to the list..

With 1000's of online casinos these days, only a very small minority are "working with hackers". So the list of OK ones will be HUGE!'

How do we prove that the all operators are actually "working" with them anyway?
The hackers probably don't tell the operators what they're up to.
The only ones which we know for sure, are those that have the hacking reported to them and then taken no action.

What I am really looking for is ones that accept UK, Not rogue or Predatory, that are good to work with.
That would still be a BIG list of operators.
Would need to know more specifically what you are looking for.
Nearly all the programs listed as "working with hackers" don't accept UK anyway, which means those that do accept UK are mostly honest & reputable.

e.g. most NetEnt based casinos DO take UK and are reputable, but most MG only casinos don't take UK and some are "associated with hackers"

What do you mean don't work with hackers? Sorry I'm new to Gambling affiliates. What exactly do they hack?

The hacker did create an account with Affiliate Edge, we shut down his account within 24 hours and sent his tracking links to dead space. We don't want anything to do with stolen traffic.

With the strong line we took, I doubt it will happen again but, if anyone does see any of our links on a hacked website then please send all evidence to Managers@affiliateedge.com and we will get it sorted.

We appreciate Affiliate Edge response to these hackers.

If programs treat affiliates this way, having no loyalty to the partners that have promoted them for years. How can you trust they are treating players fairly? (game play ratios, sudden disconnects when players are winning, etc)

Thanks Stephen - can you relay to other AM's watching (yes, there are quite a few) how you quickly caught the hacker and shut him/her down? There is a private AM area of AGD that only affiliate managers can see and use - that would be ideal to keep it from the public view for now (so the hacker doesn't re-strategize)

But there's not such thing available for (affiliate) members here.... I find that bizarre.

I know one thing, I had one good money page and I noticed the hacker got around to hacking pages using those kw's. mf.

To date, all their attempts have been unsuccessful by hammering 1 of my brand names and dislodging that from spot #1 in G. What I found oddly strange is, the serps this domain has, is in competion with 2 of the casinos, which are heavily featured on the hacker's doorway page.

If you think about that for a moment, the penny might drop. Maybe you'll then ask yourself, why does this hacker not target specific keywords like "online casino" etc etc. Or more to the point, specifically the actually casino name... Seems these are given a wide-berth... again just an obversation.

I don't understand what you're saying. The hacker's primary strategy is casino brands and long tail keywords. He is not targeting first tier keywords because he has tried and failed to get onto page one.

He is not targeting certain brands which is very interesting though.

I've seen them target pretty much all of the long tail casino slot titles, its worrying because its working so well.

They are killing it at the moment. Absolutely killing it.

I just wish more affiliates would take up the fight with the programs they still promote.

There is a surprising amount of apathy.

888, Winner, iAffiliates, Buffalo. Still all over the hacked sites.

These guys have been around for a while, i used to work for an operator a few years ago and they used to blast sites in to google page 1 globaly and on country levels for major keywords, live casino, online casino, online roulette etc...they did it across the board for months and the sites lasted about 3 weeks in the SERPS, once the sites got pulled they would rinse and repeat with other domains, all domains in the seprs 301 redirected to an affiliate page with 10 casinos listed on the homepage. I can t remember the name of the site but ill dig it out...888, winner and iaffiliates were always present on these type of sites..This was in 2010 if i remember correctly, they must have earned big bucks doing that. Now it must be becoming increasingly difficult to rank for the big money terms using the same methods so they target long tailed and brand terms too, again if you do that across the board its big money..

The problem with affiliate managers is that many are unaware of this (even if affiliates have been complaining about it on this forum and other ones for a while now), and some programs simply only care about how much money they are bridging in at the end of the day.

This was in 2010 if i remember correctly

There was another influx which started in early 2012 and continued through to mid 2013. All went quiet pretty quickly when the roads started leading back to WagerShare and their seo company WinTechnologies.
(888 and winner were on those sites too. Red Herrings to put people off the scent).

The problem with affiliate managers is that many are unaware of this (even if affiliates have been complaining about it on this forum and other ones for a while now), and some programs simply only care about how much money they are bridging in at the end of the day.

The majority of AM's aren't webmasters per se. So one needs to complain to a Program Director or higher up the chain. The thing is though, this industry in synonymous with... If it's not affecting an affiliate's income, then most times, they don't give a rats.

Which IMHO is one of the major contributing factors, which has allowed programs to get away with scewing affiliates etc etc.

I don't want to sound like a broken record... However back in the day when Cindy owned the GPWA, these hackings etc would have been stomped on. Any program/casino who continued to work with these crooks, would be blacklisted. You didn't want to be blacklisted at the GPWA back then. There are plenty of people, with enough pull to actually stand up and protest. But again it all comes back to DOLLARS.

For me the industry is a bittersweet.
On one hand its given me lots of amazing opportunities and provided an awesome lifestyle. Yet on the other hand, I've witnessed what greed and money can do to people.

This is definitely not the case. Each and every program promoted by these hackers is ACUTELY aware of the situation. At a senior level.

Some definitely don't care.

Title of this thread: "Programs NOT working with Hackers".

Loud cheers of the philosophers.
Why?
Because after 9 months this question is well overdue.

I personally have invested 30+ hours in all the cases, spoke with victims, a lot of phone calls and correspondence. For nearly every different variation I published a technical solution for victims of the crime.

But after 9 months ... not a single program or the responsible individuals, the ones who were willful accomplice of that serious crime, have been brought to account.

And we are speaking about thousands and thousands of victims of serious crime and not about a fistful of "insignificant" individuals, who only disturb the "great und decent" money making machine.

This industry definitively lost it's face with this hacker cases. Downplaying, playing for time, paying money to be protected, conspiratorial meetings on conferences. If people outside of this industry are watching us -indeed they do-, what do you think dear reader? Do they believe we are good girls and boys?

There is still hope: People creating intelligent threads, titles like "Programs NOT working with Hackers" can save what is still to be salvaged. But they are few pearls in a trough filled with sharp shards of broken mirrors.

I don't think Ari2013 was specifically pointing to Buffalo, 888, winner et al and its affiliate managers being unaware of the hacker issue. I believe this was just a generalised statement encapsulating most AM's. As far as the aformentioned casinos/programs they are well and truly aware of the status quo.

Unlike say Affiliate-Edge and others who closed the hacker down, post-haste. Buffalo, 888, winner et al continue to line their pockets with the proceeds of criminal activities.

Anti-hacker over at the GPWA...(August 2014) How long is that thread?
http://www.gpwa.org/forum/urgent-al...casinos-com-serious-hacking-proof-219035.html (20 pages).

How many votes did that poll get?
  • 63 said the hacker should be banned for life at the GPWA.
  • 5 said No.
For a thread which totally undermines the earning capacity and livelihoods of hard working and honest affiliates, to see only 68 votes, from a GPWA member base of over 20,000+, screams volumes - not happy good noise either.

Reiterating unless it directly affects affiliates bottom line, most don't give a rats.
