I hope you will all indulge me!

If you were stuck with just one affiliate program right now, which one would that be? The answer should be the one you feel has the most potential for you - not even necessarily your top earner.

Just list one because that will get us the best results in this thread. Use whatever metrics you want to come up with for your answer - reasons why would be nice but a simple answer is fine, too.

Wow - that is a tough one. At this point I trust AffiliateWide. That is my 'program of the moment' :)

That is a VERY hard question!

I think I will have to go for 32Red.
Certainly not my biggest earner right now, and I really don't like their affy back-end system, but IF the USA ever opens up for Microgaming again I think 32Red could be HUGE over there due to their cast-iron reputation for player fairness.

Tough question...

There are quite a few programs that I like, but if I had to eliminate all but one, I would probably keep Rewards Affiliates.

Neither would I pick just one. This is just an exercise. :p The idea was - if a lot of folks participated - we'd all get a unique slice of data to look at.

It creates a diverse list of #1 program that people would keep on IF brought down to the wire.... its hypothetical but provides an eyeopening perspective. (imho) - if such a list were generated by say 100 top affiliates, would you not review the list to make sure you were promoting some of the top programs? I would!

So far, I've contacted AffiliateWide to signup and 32Red (already promoting Coins/Rewards) So that was my idea.

I have the opposite problem; right now I don't have ANY number one programs. If truth be known, I have the most faith in potential with Google Adsense and decent earnings right now. Definitely not my top producer (but you'd be surprised!) - and I trust the stats, the payments are timely by wire, and I'm not dependent on retention or conversion to make money. (which means I only have me to fail me) the way the bidding is setup on the other side (Advertisers) they bid on sites to appear on, and the higher quality your site, the higher the bids because more competition. This puts me into the equation of how much money I'll make (even if only a little bit)

Hi WCD (all),

This is a tough one. Yet on the same token a very good topic to make you weight up things.

I don't push 32Red that hard. Just thinking about that now has me questioning why and my response is

KK nails the truth about 32Red.

I've been a player with then since they opened in 2002 - believe me that's saying something. Granted I'm a VIP over there but I can honestly say all players are treated with the utmost respect.

Can anyone name another online casino that not only lists the full names of their upper management but also listed their emails and photos too?
I've racked my head over this question a few times and still give up with no one else.

Add to that fast payments (less than 24 hours to receive a bank wire) and; no bullshit hoop jumping...etc..etc. Granted they don't have the daily/weekly promos that other casinos have but factor in all the negative crap that can go with other MGS casinos and frankly I'm happy to forgo promos - I'm sure other players would too.

I'm not making mega bucks with them but that's probably cause I don't push them as hard as I could. Though again this topic has me questioning why not and because of that I'm going to start pushing them a lot harder. JMO but they deserve it.

Cheers

:)

Everyone always has a different story.... 32Red was one of the very few programs that I tried very hard with and could not convert. That was my experience with them and haven't worked with them since. I gave them a good 6 months of max exposure with 0 results :(

Others love them :)

Bundling, I am not sure, since I had no earnings to test that on.

I promoted 32red too but at first I got some 400 pounds commission after that it became pennies. I asked a lot of webmasters about them all gave me the same answer : not converting. So if the casino is that great it wonders me why the results are so disappointing. IMO I trust the casino but not the affiliate program, sure it tracks clicks but about the rest it just a rare coincidence that the majority can not make money with them.
Believe me I tried several times but no results, this basically tells me to stay away even if their name is very trusted, I do not trust the affiliate program at all.

Weird !

I'm with DOM on this one, Casino Coins. In all the problems the last couple of years nothing's changed, new players every month unlike some other programs where things just don't seem right.

Like I said - definitely not my biggest earner and I agree conversions are VERY hard to make at 32Red.
I just checked my stats, and for the WHOLE of 2009 I only earned $548 with them... :(

I have the same problem with Ladbrokes though, and my theory is because they are so well-known, and advertise a lot on TV (at least, in the UK they do) they get most of their players direct and so the majority of potential internet customers have already signed up with them by the time they visit our sites!
(Just a theory - I could be completely wrong!)

I don't market 32Red to UK visitors. Though my conversion were a lot better before they changed the site to all red. Personally I don't like it, it's too dark. I much preferred the white with red on their old site.

I did ask Mark for a landing page but unlike the big casino aff programs I think their resources are a bit stretched with in house stuff. So I got approval to do up my own landing page. I think once I do that conversions will improve.

Maybe if you having trouble converting, it could be worth doing an A/B test with a landing page again the 32Red casino page ;)

Cheers

32red IMO is very good with players, you hear the players rave about 32red all the time...

But (32red) treats affiliates like they don't care about affs and their conversions really suck, my experience. This is one of the programs that feels they would be better off with affs out of the picture.

I had the same experience as Andy, I sent them tons of really good converting traffic and never made a damn cent...

I am not saying they are shaving players.... I can't prove it... but when day after day you watch 32 red not convert, while your other 'lesser' programs are converting like crazy, on the same traffic... something is 'wrong' at 32red...

We are working with 32Red since April 2010 and have good results compared to the other programs that we promote. Convertion from sign up to depositor is 31%.
