Is anyone else having issues getting paid by PlazaWin casino?

We earned commission in June and despite numerous emails, still havent been paid to date.

Today, (Ofer) replies to inform us that because we were in negative in July, we wont be paid until our account turns positive again. Why are they adding June, July, Aug etc etc before paying. SHould it be month by month?

Junes comm - should be been paid in July

If Julys earnings were neg - fine, they dont pay in Aug or months thereafter until the account is positive again.

Please correct me if im wrong?

These guys seem dodgy! Steer clear!

Of course if you were already owed a payment then it shouldn't matter what happens after that, the payment amount should remain untouched. Otherwise programs could delay their payments each month in the hope that your account turns negative before they've paid.

Negative carryover is never good, but to apply it backwards to owed payments - that's ridiculous.

Quite a few programs do that actually - if you don't make enough to reach the minimum payment threshold, negatives in subsequent months will wipe out your earnings.
One that springs instantly to mind is Bet365 - they definitely do this.

I agree about NCO though - it totally sucks and now I wont promote any casinos who have it.
(I still do promote some I signed-up to years ago when I was naive :p)

I've just checked their T&Cs - and it says the minimum payment is only $10!
Therefore, if your June earnings were more than $10, you definitely have good cause to complain.

Thanks for your input guys.

After posting on the forums, I received an email from their CMO

After going over this issue today for several hours I’m still not sure what went wrong and why you didn’t get paid on time. As PlazaWin DOES NOT have negative carryover you’ll get any month’s positive revenues regardless of a previous or following month with negative revenues. Send me your bank details and I’ll have the $$$ wired to you tomorrow morning (in about 8 hours).

It seems my AM is clueless about his own program.

Oh dear - that really instills a lot of confidence... NOT!

If the AM is reading this thread, please go to: PlazaWin Casino Affiliate
Look at condition 4.4:
4.4 Minimum Payment and Time of Payment. All Affiliate Accruals generated through your chosen Payment Plan will be paid into your Affiliate Cashier Account within fifteen (15) days of the close of each calendar month. We may impose reasonable restrictions on the frequency and amounts that can be cashed out of your Affiliate Cashier Account for administrative convenience and/or to protect the security of your account. At our sole discretion, we may impose a policy that if the amount due is negative or less than USD10 in any particular month, then (i) any negative amount will carry over and will be deducted against the following month, and (ii) any amount less than USD10 will carry over and become payable in the calendar month in which the total amount of Affiliate Accruals exceeds USD10 in accordance with this clause.

To be fair, it does say "At our sole discretion, we may impose a policy..." - but without telling affiliates up-front under what conditions this will be applied makes it a predatory term IMO.

If the terms state no nco then no final decision has to be made other than an apology to the affiliate with there payment.

There was a NCO in the beginning I believe, but enough people asked ;D and it was removed. I'd bet that will be out of the T&Cs completely soon. Also, I'm paid up to date. I don't have any huge players in there, but it converts okay for me. It's fairly new and that's an advantage. Creatives are amazing, lots of them, and you can get anything you need from their team (least everything I've asked for).
