Hi all,

I want to let you know that we had a terrible experience with Platin Casino Affiliates. We have been advertising them for 5 months with a CPA deal + rev-share.

In 30th of January, we have received an email from affiliate manager Lena. She asked us to stop the traffic within 48 hours and confirmed that they would value the late conversion. We've removed their casino on our listings and stopped the traffic as they wanted.

In 4th of February, we have received another email stating that our account has been closed due to fraudulent activity and they have enough evidence to do so. They refused to pay almost €500 commission for January.

We asked for the evidence, reasons and questioned what suddenly happened with traffic as we were advertising them for five months and now they do not reply.

Does anybody have the same problem with Platin Casino Affiliates?

Hm, i believe it's not typical for Lena not to answer. Personally i made good experience with her. And she is always very helpful if it goes around questions of player problems and trying to solve. I wonder why you have stopped immediately your traffic without asking for the exact reason. Firstly 5 days later you asked for the reason ?

So i can only assume that is has to do with the players you brought and which are under the hybrid deal. Don't know how much your CPA is but maybe this cause. If these players only one time deposited the minimum and don't come back then you have probably the answer. Can also be that these players are not kosher in any way or also use false datas.

Pure CPA deals are not a good form to work in this business, hybrid deals are not much better so i can imagine that your earnings are only from CPA and not from rev-share.

You must know that partner companies or casinos have enough tools and a team to identify fraudulent activity. It must be not always so but in most cases unfortunately there is.

If you want to clear this situation because you mean this isn't correct then you should request the evidence.

Only you can know or can answer what could be the reason for that Platin has identified your account or your players as fradulent. I wish you that this was only happen by mistake. If not you must try to clear the situation with Platin Affiliates or submit a complaint form through an extern platform.

The other way is to accept that your account will stay closed and to consider the loss of earnings as a painful experience or insight.

Strange! I always got feedback from Lena and she was always very helpful and obliging when I had problems or requests.

Hi, thank you for your reply. We stopped the traffic immediately as they have set a time limit and requested immediate action. We were ok when she said that the late conversion will be issued, so it was not a problem to remove them. The deal was hybrid as I have written CPA + 30% rev-share. If the players do not deposit again it is not our problem as it is a CPA deal – that's why we are reducing the revshare.

As someone who had been working for casinos and affiliates for a long time I know the tools to identify fraudulent activity, however, you cannot identify fraud in this case as there was small activity compared to the last months and we think that is the reason they do not provide any evidence.

As I have written before, we have requested the evidence and they do not reply. Please read the first entry in the thread and thank you so much for your answer.

It would be interesting whether Platin or Lena could give a statement here.

We can't expect that Platin Affiliates make the evidence public here but they could give a general statement.

But what has to happen in any case is that the company must communicate with it's customer and ensures that no speculations will remain into the room. A company with transparency will do that. Therefore i hope that the situation can be clarified for you.

Hi,
first apologies for being late on this topic but LAC kept me busy last week.
Yes I have stopped the Deal with the Affiliate because of suspicious traffic and I will send more details to them this week explaining my decision. Also the Affiliate has been a member of our Affiliate Program for 5 months there had been no traffic in the first 4 months. The Affiliate started advertising us in January 2020 and sent us 5 Players. So the FTDs in question have been the first and only in our cooperation. Taking time to get started isn't something I have problems with but sending bad traffic definitely is. After checking the reports raised my alarm and I asked the Affiliate to stop the traffic soon as possible. I did further investigations with our CRM Team before informing the Affiliate of Account Closure.
Of course I won't make the evidence public here but I'll inform the Affiliate tomorrow about our findings via email.
Regards,
lena

I have sent the requested data to the affiliate. I can send it to AGD as well if affiliate agrees.

@justin case - bit of different story to what you told us

Affiliate has been a member of our Affiliate Program for 5 months there had been no traffic in the first 4 months. The Affiliate started advertising us in January 2020 and sent us 5 Players. So the FTDs in question have been the first and only in our cooperation.

Thank you so much for the docs Lena, why didn't you close the player accounts then? As far as I can see in our tools a player redirected through our links deposited €245 yesterday. Also, how can we be responsible if a person decides to open duplicate accounts? If you think that the accounts were created by our side, why would we wait for 5 months to do something like that despite all the registrations (who are potential FTDs) we sent to you?
