New player this month and i get this. My site isnt the greatest earner of all, but these guys are getting virtually free advertisement and i get near diddly squat.

Gross Revenue $157.00
Microgaming Fees $55.30
Banking Processing Fees $08.00
Carry Over $00.00
Charge Backs $00.00
Charge Back Reversals $00.00
Net Revenue $93.70
Commission % 15%
2nd Tier Commission $00.00
Commission $14.06

Ok so im guilty of not being on the ball here, but to receive a measly $14.06 this is ridiculous.

Wow... that's a LOT of Fees. Nice commission percentage of 15% too... where did that come from? The sad thing is that (with MGS Fee), your 'REAL' percentage here is only: 8.96%.

Jeez Starpartner... I think this is absolutely shameful. Your website states 15% revshare (at the lowest) which is absolutely ridiculously low... but 8.96% should be what is stated!!!

I am curious how this commission will be explained.

Starpartner isn't worth promoting if your a new affiliate. The new commission structure is almost criminal in my opinion. If your an old affiliate and managed to stay on the 27% plan with no fees, then its still worth promoting. I wonder if Microgaming is having money troubles, or does Microgaming have no hand in these new changes?

Star Partner has sucked for years; it seems like they are constantly looking for ways to reduce affiliate commissions and keep more for themselves. ::)

15% - I didn't know ANY MGs paid that little!
I just checked my StarPartner and I'm still on 27% - and they didn't deduct any fees from me in December or January.
Good job too - I only earned $15 each month anyway!

I was on 27% November and December, then in January it changed to 15%.

In situations like this i think its best i vote with my feet.

Did you inform them that you would like to stay on the old commission scheme before January started? If so, your commission rate should not have been changed.

And there lies the problem. Still going to vote with my feet. Cant see why anyone would promote these when there are far more profitable casinos to promote.

Are you saying that you asked Starpartner to stay on the old commission scheme and they did not honor this?

No no, its my mistake, for whatever reason i did not make my decision on the commission scheme, so they automatically changed it. Its my fault for not making a decision.

Ok, I see. The new commission scheme is bogus imo, but at least they offered existing affiliates to keep the original scheme.

My conversions and retention has never been good with Starpartner but I have not promoted them in a while. How are they performing these days?

The problem is that many affiliates do not read forums... and many do not look at their emails constantly. So - those affiliates got 15% without wanting it. Personally, they shouldn't have AUTO-CHANGED anyone's commission structure. That's predatory no matter how you look at it. Might be time to change their status based upon what I am hearing.

That's exactly what I was thinking at the time it happened. Seemed a bit dirty to do it the way they did.

Can someone please explain what "Microgaming Fees" means? And why affiliates should pay for this?

Great to be able to get this type of information before putting in all the work needed to promote these affiliates esp for new guys just coming in. With so many affiliates out there its a task at first it seems to weed through the ones which do and don't work well for you and as a whole.

It means that they don't want to pay to license Microgaming software... they want the affiliate to pay for it :)

Well, they are passing on their fees from Microgaming. That is what they should be paying to 'own' a casino. And... my guess is, if they pass enough % along to us - they quite possible COULD profit off of it (depending upon how Microgaming charges their licensees).

I don't like any program passing these along to affiliates, personally.
