That's very sad for members and people who are earning money and have payments pending as they will lose their money too.

?

Players anyway wouldn't have received their money as these casino's are rogue as ****. And affiliates who were promoting this scam and sending players to places where they will be scammed... I can't feel sorry for them.

To be fair, when Affactive started out in 2009 they weren't too bad - they did actually pay their players quite quickly, albeit with their very low $500/fortnight policy.
But as the years went by they gradually got worse and worse with their slow cash-out policies, and player complaints increased rapidly in 2013.
I dumped both groups in Feb 2014, just before they were officially rogued by CM in March.

I was still earning little bits & pieces from residual players, and I guess I was very lucky that I got my last payment from RevenueJet last week - just a few days before they went down, and I was owed nothing from Affactive. Not that I care much about that; the main thing is they can't rip-off any more players and can no longer give our industry a bad name.
So yes, I feel very sorry for any players who have money they can't withdraw - but zero sympathy for any affiliates (including myself!)

The thing is KK none us of know who's going to be next to turn rogue.

I mean look who has gone bad since 2009.

Who'd have thought Referback would be taken over by Wagershare? I sure didn't.

One thing that I've learned is that lifetime revenue share means up to 4-5 years max.

True... I calculate with max. 2 years... which doesn´t mean I accept if programs cut it down earlier than lifetime. Lifetime agreed, means lifetime in my opinion.

It never used to be like that but that's the general status qou these days, for sure!

Lifetime agreed, means lifetime in my opinion.

Lifetime is exactly that, no ifs, no buts. If a program is making money from a player, then they continue to pay the affiliate, end of story. Problem arises when a program decides to change this agreement.

Reiterating this statement over again (said many times in the past), unless affiliates are prepared to take a Class Action Lawsuit against a program, this sort of thing will keep happening. And more than likely the "lifetime" payment window will grow smaller and smaller.

At the end of the day regardless of what commission model your on, it all hinges 100% on TRUST.
Is CPA better? Nothing is better than the other if a program reneges on an agreement and shifts the goal posts ;)

This news, didn't really surprise me tbh.

The biggest thing for me about this is, the fact, that these guys also have 1000's of players personal details and I.D docs. Not really the kind of people I would want to have those o_O

That's the point I was trying to make in that other thread; you just never can tell for sure who will turn rogue, or even start up from new with rogue intentions.
Just the same you can never be sure if you are being shaved or having your figures tweaked in the back-end.

Working in this industry is... well.. a gamble!

With all gambling, you win some - you lose some.
If you can't stand the heat...

Next to impossible to prove unless it's blatant stealing... Personally I factor in leaway and monitor things for a while. If things then still look suss, then they probably are. Lets just say I run on gut feelings mixed with years of stats. Legitimate numbers don't lie. ;)

CPA isn't better usually. Not even if you're shaved and lifetime isn't lifetime but just a few years. Quality players will give you usually more than $ 300 or $ 400 in a few years...

Ummm and now the FBI and Israeli Law Enforcement has them too. In addition to Joshua who is still at large somewhere in Russia.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum, but I have something to say about those guy... Because I was working in Customer Supoort at one of their casinos long time ago...

The first thing I would like to mention - yes, they are totally scammed. With all brands, almost 90% of players, and of course affiliates. Guess what, this company also has run such brand like Gold VIP Club. Just check it here:

http://www.askgamblers.com/casino/gold-vip-club-casino-review-r3178

This brand was the very first try for them. It lasts for years because of 5 really big walles - one of them lost more than $1.3MM during one year and a half. But those guys wanted much more, so they have opened an office in Kiyv, Ukraine. I was a student when I found the vacancy offering high compensation, bonuses, and many other things.

For the first couple months after they have launched RevenueJet brands (I was working at one of them) they were paying to players like a clock, but after good times shit happens. As CS representative, I have started to mention unusual comments under winning players in RTG CMS system: "Player was not paid, management decision". After some complaints, we all got an email, saying we just have to forward them to Finance Department, where they will be bulled but shit like "We are investigating your account, please hold". It was happening to all brands at the same time, both Affactive and RevenueJet. By the way, it was forbidden to say "you will not receive your money", we just had to tell poor guys "Sorry, I don't have any information, please write to Finance Department".

Those guys don't give any fuck to affiliates and players. One day we got this instruction: "You have to take player's credit card, and make deposit through our billing system, which is called Doughflow (http://www.doughflow.com/), because (!!!) if we do such - affiliate will not receive their commissions". Little explanation here - the player is able to deposit by himself, but also CS is able to take his CC information and make deposit from his side. Guess what? :) They often fire some account managers by stealing player's money from their credit cards :)

The goal of CS of Affactive and RevenueJet is not to provide high service, but is to UPSALE each and every guy that deposits to the casino. No matter what he is telling to you - CS had to reach him, take the CC info, charge the money and wait till he loses. In case we upsale is successful - affiliate will not receive the commissions from the deposit made by CS.

Wow... I did not know they owned Gold VIP. Does NOT shock me as that casino started out spamming immediately (actually recruited hackers on BlackHatWorld as I recall).

The rest of that story is complete insanity. They went to great lengths to take from affiliates. And, in the end, they begged AGD daily, weekly, and monthly to take AffActive OUT of the ROGUE list. But, we refused. They seem to have gotten what they deserved and, if much of this is true, I'm guessing they will get a lot more of what they deserve before this is all done.

Thanks for the information!

Wow thanks so much for sharing that betforwin. What a shot show it must have been in there. I realized as I was half way through that my jaw was on the floor. If someone asked me to do this, I would have quickly and forcefully punched that person clear in the nose. Just enough to break it, but not enough to hurt my hand.

When my manager first manager left, Sarah, I was done there. Who would want to promote a casino who's owner is continuing to call me rudely after telling him to delete my info.
