I guess most of us have had links placed. I mean have had other people link to us because of our great content.

But what is the right (approximate) number of words and the keyword density that should go in to an article.
If you for example have one link is 300 words enough or should you aim for 500. and the keyword that you want to link should that be mentioned 1 or 5 times. is there a keyword density that you want to stay within.

If it is two link should it be minimum 800 words and should the keyword density be lowered. I guess yes, if both keyword contains a similar word.

How about an article with 3 links. what is a good number.
And when is the # of links in an article, simply too much.

I would say at least 500 words, with two links, one to your own site and an external link to some page with authority.

Hi biti,
thank you for the reply. I dont understant.
So lets say I buy an article from a good website domain trust 50+ or whatever metrics you like to look at. the article is 800 words and I tell him to put 2 links with 2 different keywords to 2 different pages on my website. You are actually telling me that it would be better to send 1 of those links to my website and the other link to like for example an org or edu website with trust? :)

link buyers are currently asking for 700 words per , one authority link, one internal link and one to their site. Hope this helps.

Simply. If you buy an article only 1 link should go to your website and the other one should go to an authority website. IS there an article about this that I can read :)

Authority links would be any large news source that receives plenty of traffic. Espn, SI, Yahoo, etc. The formula I mentioned above are what people who buy links are currently asking for, not information from an article.

Thanks Scott!
So would they try to fit the yahoo link (for example) in. Or would just put it inside of a casino paragraph and be done with it

Would try to make all the links fit into the article. example: "Last week, the manager of XYZ company" highlight and link to separate article.

I don't recommend you to add 3 links or more. It is too much.. Adding just 1 link of your site to a 500-600 word article is would be enough..
