No Stats from WPNAffilites for a MONTH

I need to vent. Payday is coming up and there is almost certainly going to be a delay.

The WPNaffiliates program, for the Winning Poker Network has not updated stats in a month.

WPN affiliates program houses brands like America's Cardroom, Black Chip Poker, True Poker, and Ya Poker.

They rolled out a new version of their poker software a month ago, and did not have stats ready to be swapped over at that time. Nor, in the last month, have they been able to fix or update affiliate stats. They use the MyAffiliates reporting platform.

To add insult to injury, the poker client is a mess. Games of all types aren't operating as intended and tournaments were completely stopped for a time. They were reinstituted at much lower guarantees than before. A month later, clients are still essentially beta testing this new software for WPN.

What makes this more egregious for poker affiliates is that it is the World Series of Poker right now. There is a notable spike in search traffic and signups this time of year. Yet we are forced to go through this period with ZERO stats reported!

This is unsatisfactory bullshit as far as I'm concerned.

Oh, and they don't pay for casino and sports revenue, whilst simultaneously charging affiliates for deposits and withdrawals of all customers, even those who play said games (prior discussion thread).

We are currently waiting for our development team to send us the gameplay reports, which include key variables such as player points, which are necessary to complete the equation accurately to calculate and display your earnings.

Once we have received these player statistics, and our team has done the necessary testing to ensure the data is correct, we will display your affiliate earnings to you in the backend and begin the process of issuing payments.

Once again, please rest assured that all your sign-ups and revenue are being effectively tracked on our end and you will receive full credit for your earnings and be able to historically view the information once we complete the data migration.

We appreciate your continued patience as we make the transition and we will contact and we will keep you informed throughout every stage of the process.

Yeah, they sent out an email... whoop-t-do!

They have no date for copmletion. Payday should have happened already. The poker client is still screwed up.

This is excruciatingly unprofessional of them.

So to update this thread, there are STILL NO STATS!

They made the effort to pay for the first 19 days of May... an "advancement" on affiliate pay. Well, perhaps I am just a stickler for real definitions, but "advancement" would mean a payment before it was actually due.

What WPN Affiliates did was pay for less than 2/3rds of the amount due, when they should be paying for the full amount. Actually, I believe even that 2/3rds payment was LATE.

The shit show continues.

Fingers crossed they get their collective sh#t together sooner than later.

IDK but maybe I just do things differently...

Lets say I'm updating a site to a completely new layout, and other bells/whistles too. Development like this isn't done on a whim. Instead, one tends to plan it well ahead of time. I use a local test server (an old PC I have), and I makes sure everything is working, API's, everything and operating as it should, before it's uploaded to my server.

It truly surprises me, and it also seems these companies, don't follow a similar staging protocol. Sure some things just break sometimes. But on a whole, if it's working at staging level, then it should also be working live too.

Yes, the process is garbage. The updates are few, placating, and inaccurate. The money is lingering.

Another affiliate who prefers to withdraw his affiliate earnings in Bitcoin made a very salient point the other day. Had he been paid in full on time, he would have gotten bitcoin at approximately $8,000 per coin. Today, BTC is up 50% from there. He lost out on thousands of dollars in appreciation because Winning Poker Network Affiliates did not pay commissions in full, or on time.

Update:

Got an email from them which states

We are still waiting for the final numbers to determine the exact amount of commissions due to you for these two months. We wanted to send this estimated payment before as a token of good faith while we await the final data.

Once we’ve received the data, we will make two individual adjustments, one for each month. This will complete the outstanding amount owed for June and July, which will be reflected in your player account.

Also confirmed two payments that are exactly the same. I take it they took an average of our recent commissions lately and gave that to us. However, they did not account for our custom deal so these payments were smaller than expected.


Still no affiliate stats whatsoever since MAY 2019.

The stats for America's Cardroom have been updated. The back pay situation has been resolved for America's Cardroom.

However, there are two other brands, Black Chip Poker and True Poker. Neither of these have been resolved stat-wise or in terms of financial compensation. Six months and counting this problem has existed.
