Hi everyone! I'm new to being an affiliate for betting sites. I'm looking at offering sports betting and casino games through my newly created website although it's not finished as yet.

Has anyone got any tips and tricks for me to start getting people to my website and clicking the links?

Which betting sites are the best ones to do it through? I've heard **snip** is a good one.

Many Thanks,

Gaz

Really? Who on earth told you that? :eek:
I could have listed dozens of programs and **snip** would never have come up as a recommendation.

Do they even have a UK betting license ... I couldn't find them on the database.

My friend is an affiliate with them. Check out their wesbite.

I was just after advice really on who are the best ones to sign up with and what's the best way to go about getting more traffic through my banners once it's all set up. Like best pages/groups to post in on Facebook or best Twtter accounts to RT/Follow and what hashtags to use?

Many thanks

I can tell you who to avoid!

Nearly the "Big Name" brands are great for customers, bad news for affiliates for various reasons:
They advertise on mainstream media (TV, newspapers etc.) so most players are likely to go direct making it hard to convert new customers.
Because they are so big, they don't really care about a little affiliate bringing in only a couple of punters per month - many of them have T&Cs which are really bad for the small guys, like Negative Carry-Over (NCO) and minimum quotas which lets them reduce your % and/or withhold commissions.

For example, I would NOT recommend any small/start up affiliate use these guys:
Ladbrokes, BetVictor (NCO & quotas)
Will Hills, iAffiliates, 888 (Untrustworthy affiliate programs, NCO?)
BetFair, Bwin (Previous rogue activities)
Winner and 75% of all other Playtech based programs (Current very rogue player terms)
Bet365 (NCO)

SHILL ALERT!
Never even heard of **snip** - but look at their site and it's total shite!
Going to the so-called "affiliate site" (**snip**) and it isn't one - it just the betting portal.
Says "Powered by Boyle Sports" which is extremely worrying - why would reputable Boyle be involved with this strange site? :confused:

They're a boyles white label so run off boyles license.

In 3 posts its gone from I've heard they're good, your friend's an affiliate for them, to your friend's friend owns this site. Seriously dude o_O Agree with KK this thread screams SHILL!

Yeah it does look a little fishy doesn't it...

ok, I snipped out the name of that program all over the place in this thread. Nobody needs to go over to a half-baked program and then get shafted. That's not what we are about at AGD. :) I doubt anyone knows if that program is good or bad betoffers4u, but when a program has a half-baked website and nobody has heard of it - that isn't a good sign (whether you know the people involved or not). It is up to YOU to trust them or not based upon your first-hand knowledge of the people involved. But to spread it around here at AGD is considered poor form.

Nobody takes offense, but of course we will call out a program that looks horrible... nobody here has a problem with that. :)

Sorry to cause bother, I'm a beginner at all this so just wanted some friendly advice. I'm not here to promote anyone, I just want to try and earn some money for myself through any affiliated betting company.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

I am not much of a social media person, so can't help you there. Check out the sponsors here for programs to promote - those are quality programs. Check out the certified programs as well. Here are a few that I promote:

Sponsors:
* Affiliate Cruise
* Drake Affiliates
* PrincessStar Affiliates
* Club Gold Affiliates
* Go Wild Affiliates

Non-Sponsors
* Refilliates
* Focal Click
* Deckmedia

Also what gets you accepted as Bet365 have rejected me?

Every program is different. Many auto-accept everyone. Others are picky and take a look at your website to see if that website fits their image of who they want promoting them. I would email them and ask why they chose to not accept you as an affiliate.

I've created a website which has no content as yet as I've only just started to get into this.

Does anyone else know much about the social media side where to promote once accepted?

I've just emailed Bet365 to ask so waiting for a reply.

Trust me - they did you a favour.
Didn't you read my earlier post?
They have Negative Carry-Over - one big winner could leave you still heavily promoting them but earning NOTHING for months or even 2.5 years like what happened to me.
(In fact, I have also only just come back from being in the red with them since last April - and even that could be wiped out again if a player wins next month as the amount I'm owed is below their minimum cash-out amount).

If you genuinely want help, you need to listen to what people here are saying. I'm not saying I'm prefect & know everything, but I do know you DEFINITELY do not want to get involved in any programs who have NCO, when 95% of all the others don't have it.

I know nothing about social media - take other's advise on that.

I agree with those comment above! a good way is to also when you have time expand content, look to promote betting and casino then within slots etc also payment options as well. good expanded content with good keyword research can help you go along away
