New Member to AGD

Hi All,
One of your members suggested signing up to this forum, so here i am. I have been posting on the GPWA for the last couple of years but it has gone a bit stale. So am looking forward to some real banter and useful advice and hopefully make some new contacts on AGD.

A bit about myself, I have been dabbling in the affiliate market for a while but have not taken it too seriously until last August (2015) when i got a new partner. Our site is concentrated on betting tips and bookmaker offers in the UK. But not exclusively!!!

If i make enough posts and able to share the site I would welcome feedback on it.

CAP has always been a bit of strange one.

It was actually not too bad when Lou (RIP) had it (imo before greed took over), and he got involved with the current owners. Who, lets face it, lied through their back teeth, using Lou as a scapegoat, when ALL that dodgy poker affiliate fiasco got yanked out of the dark!

They tried to revive the place and while they did a fairly decent job at that, I think their real-agenda was to run a Network Affiliate Program. Thing is though, after that poker BS in which they were directly involved in and orchestrating, their trust factor was shot. When that didn't pan out as planned, the forum... well that wasn't worth the effort anymore.

These days I refer to CAP as the Crap Affiliate Portal.

I'm not quite sure I had the exact same scenario in my mind But I will say that Lou ran the forum pretty well before the greed hit him, IMO. Not sure how the Affiliate Media partnership thing went down... I only know that Lou was pretty cool to me and AGD for a bit and then he turned hard on me and threatened to destroy AGD. That phone conversation was craziness.. I have never before nor after been sweared at that much.

Now CAP is dead in the forums, but they must be doing ok elsewhere as they don't want to get rid of CAP. They make plenty of money off it, I guess.

LOL I had the same phone convo with him after he realized he could not bully you Andy, he then attacked and threatened me. I think he referred to me as an over paid social butterfly, saying I had no affiliate skills.. Among other things.
Warren is a good man & Lou was holding him back plain and simple.... Not to mention the childish things Lou did like changing peoples avatars, and mocking them in public. I do not like that type of behavior..

Agreed on both parts And - the people here make AGD for sure. Lots of awesome members that help each other out on a daily basis. Love that.
