Hello everyone,
I am new to the casino affilaite world,
My site - tipagambler.com is a new casino site, now starting to add sports aswell.

Love to hear your thoughts and most importantly any advice that could help me get some traffic, and make my site a better one. The current situation is that i am getting a few entries a month still no real depositing players though.

Anything that can help i am happy to hear

Thanks alot in advance.

Welcome to the forum!

In my personal opinion, Sports and Casinos are not a good combination for affiliates. The reason I say that, is because nearly all sports book operators have affiliate terms which are FAR inferior to casino-only operators. Namely NCO and unrealistic quotas.
So if I were to make a site like yours, I would try to have DIFFERENT operators for my casinos to that which I use for sports promotion.

The site looks amazing! Layout and links are easy to follow. Compared to the rest of the site the following images look like they could be a bit sharper: sharper.JPG the text in the image is a bit fuzzy... Just looks a little off because the rest of the site looks super clean. If I'm being completely honestly, I don't love the domain name, but everything else looks great.

Thanks alot everyone for the feedback and i will get on to fixing these things.

Kasino King - a question about sports betting, it seems that all the most popular or should i say "famous" of the sports betting operators, have negative carry over\ dont meet AGD terms.
Think i should still consider promoting them? If not any other good operators you can recommend?

Ryan thanks for the Insights page i will get on to working on that.

Welcome to forum :)

KK makes valid points.
The things is though, it takes time to learn the ropes. Not only about who to promote, but what works for your site, and more importantly, your traffic.

I'd also consider losing the Free Theme, and purchase a professional WP theme. Why?

Using a free theme doesn't give the right impression IMHO to punters. Also, you currently have 1 follow link to the theme creator (a pro theme doesn't require this). I'd also lose the link to wordpress in your footer. It's not maditory to have this link. In addition, a pro WP theme tends to have far better optimised code, including SEO code - every little bit helps. Plus a pro theme offers far more fuctionality than free WP themes.

The top navigation: I'd reduce the wording in each link. Currently the last nav link is being pushed to the second line, making it look a tad messy. I'd remove "BEST" from all these links. It might sound like a great word, but its been overused so much that Google tends to not like it.

With all that said, my question to you is this... What makes your site unique compared to ALL the other wordpress/gambling portals on the net?

My top 3 biggest earners all have NCO, it's more physiological than anything else if you build a decent player base it's never a problem and typically the NCO Programs generally have a higher sign up and deposit rate, for me anyhow it's probably different for every affiliate depending on site and traffic type, back to your site.. honestly nothing new here join the other 3 million replica sites, i have said thisd over and over again. if you want top spots you have to stop using the cookie cutter templates, check any top 20 result and you will find that very few of them exist now, it's dominated by sites with worthy content or some unique point which is how it should be.

Exactly... Being blunt, anyone can throw up a WP gambling site these days. But only a few can develop a site which stands heads and shoulders above the crowd. Aim for that high plateau - never accept anything less from yourself, and success will follow, especially in today's market.

Thanks a lot everyone for the kind reply!

Thanks for bringing out the fact that there has to be something unique in my site , for it to be very successful . Of course , I still didn't quite figure that out , but I have a few ideas and I am on it.
I will find my way to differentiate eventually.

I did however followed many tips for novice right here in this forum , suggesting to not withhold on the launch , even if the site Isn't quite where you'd imanige it yet.
Hence a cookie cutter site , to start getting the feel of working with all the different tools out there etc.
Again appreciate all the replies , and I would even more appreciate more good ideas on how to get there , rather than just pointing out that I am still not there :)

I really do appreciate each and every reply here guys.
I will get a pro version of my site and follow all the other great tips everyone pointed out and please ,
keep up with the much appreciated ideas !

Thanks a lot everyone!

First, I like your site. Clean and attractive.

Frank and Aussie obviously correct, but you shouldn't take it as a discouragement but a challenge. It seems that you know enough and with some thought and imagination will find your unique voice. (btw, people do make money without it as well).

Small things:
Logos - i would choose if you want to go with background or without and stick to that choice. (i think without background might look better on yours)
Tables - I would get rid of the vertical mouse effect - doesn't have any value and a bit too much.
Affiliate links - i suggest to use some type of redirect, like php redirect through /play/ directory. When time comes that you need to update/redirect links (and it will come) - it will be much easier and you won't loose traffic on some that you forgot to update.
I would consider focusing at least for starters on one vertical (and maybe even more precise) - trying to cover sports, casinos and poker (one of your menu tabs) can result that you cover all but cover nothing.

Definitely by the theme and get rid of the links at the bottom +improve site speed.

Good luck!

Hi there!

I agree with KK, Ryan, Frank, Dave and Kadabra. All very solid points. Personally, I would focus on sharpening up some of those images, working a bit on making your logo maybe a bit more dominant on the site itself and reducing characters on those options in the main menu to help them have a better fit.

Overall I like it though! Good job and good luck to you in the future.

With that said, I just finished a great motivational book/audio book (I like to listen while I work) that can be directly applied to this industry:

The 10X Rule: The Only Difference Between Success and Failure
Book by Grant Cardone

If you want to be successful (commercially speaking) mix/socialise with successful people. EG - ditch the naysayers. I'm sure most of us here could name at least one friend who could not see our goal and dreams. Once you stop believing in yourself, and your ability to turn your dreams into a reality, instead start listening to the naysayers, you've lost.

Some people may scoff at this, but postit notes peppered around my office/workspace, helped keep me on path.

My good mate Bernie (WCD) has a brillant quote on his Skype sig.
"The only thing between you and success is the bullshit line you keep feeding yourself."

Do whatever it takes to live your dreams ;)

Awesome Ryan, where would be the best place to listen to this audio book? I am interested in listening to it :)

You can also use similar tools to google insights to check your code quality, site compression and server timings:

tools.pingdom.com

gtmetrix.com

Those are important factors that big G is taking into consideration. Also install free SSL certificate - secure https should improve your ranks as well.
