My votes would go for #29, #25, and #33 in that order. The logos with the thicker flames
are going to look better on a white or off-white background. The logos with the thinner
flames don't look as good on white as they would look on red or other darker colors.

Just type the number or numbers o the ones you like. I know which one I like the most, so could still go with that :) But I appreciate everyone's opinion!

Just want to ask - does everyone think having a great logo makes any significant difference to your site being successful?
I think I can assume Andy does, since he's spending a huge amount of time & effort on this!

All the logo's I've ever used on all my websites I have knocked up myself in an hour or two using MS Paint.
Does anyone think I would get more sign-ups f I had a professionally produced logo?
Oh, and how much do they cost?

Cheers,
KK

Branding, yes. People remember logos when the site name is similar to others, IMO.

While focusing on other things like SEO, ranking, paid ads, content and other stuff, a site can do very well even with an OK logo.
However, in terms of branding, having a really nice logo can help. People can easily recognize the brand, link to it or talk about it to other people.

In this industry, really few sites focus on having a great logo, myself included.
It could be considered, but it surely has to be in your strategy as well before spending that much on it. just saying

All the logos are fine - look professional - and will get the slots / fire message across to visitors.
Any one that you choose will be fine - don't agonize about the choice.

Although I've never given any thought to a branded logo - I can see why it might help with name recognition in this case.
If it's a slots review site - then there are hundreds of competitors all doing the same and all with the word SLOTS in their domain.
This logo would probably help with getting name retention memorised and a possible repeat visit.

Although - why you want your readers to think that you set slot machines on fire though - is your own business ...
;)

A good looking logo can make all the difference to a website. I was looking at sports betting aff site this morning, the layout and design of the site was good but they had their logo on the top left of the header with no padding at all. It looked really unprofessional and spoiled the whole site for me.

I'm no graphic designer but I also, like KasinoKing, design my own logo's.

I love #29.

It's clean, easy to read and gets the brand message across instantly.

As KasinoKing asked, does a good logo result in more sign-ups? I'm not sure, but I think it would result in a positive impact on bounce rates.
From a personal perspective, I am much more likely to 'trust' the content of a site who's brand inspires feelings of legitimacy and professionalism (regardless of the 'niche').

In the past I have used www.designcrowd.com for logo creation. It's a really cool service, you post a short brief of the type of logo you're looking for and the amount you're willing to pay for it. Within 24 hours I started receiving design concepts from a selection of graphic designers all over the world, and once I selected an option I liked the payment was released to the designer. The last time I used the service it cost approx €150 and I had my new logo within three days.
